downtown disney resorts

Can you get the "package deals" at Downtown Disney hotels? Such as dining plan, grouping your room with park ticket, etc. We didn't think you could, but we've read a few things in the past week or so that are making us question that.

When we enquired about the DDP we were told that we had to book Disney room, park tickets and dining plan together. They would not let us book the DDP for non-Disney hotels

DTD Resorts, Swan & Dolphin are all excluded from the DDP, grand gatherings and putting your ticket on your room key.

With the S&D you can participate in EMH's, and having things shipped back to the resort, to be picked up in the gift shop. I'm not positive about the DTD resorts.

Great, thanks! We thought they were excluded from the packages, etc... but wanted to check.
