Labor Day weekend....

What are the crowds like during Labor Day weekend? I know Labor Day is on a Monday, but what are the crowds like Friday/Saturday/Sunday?...

I was there last year for labor day weekend and didn't mind the crowds at all. I don't think they were at all unmanageable.
I had been there on July 4th before and will NEVER go back then.

Crowds do increase over the holiday weekend, particularly in the Magic Kingdom. Crowds are generally quite manageable over this holiday period!

I'LL ALSO BE THERE FROM FRI 8/31 TO 9/5.. I'M HOPING THE LINES WON'T BE TOO BAD FOR THE ATTRACTIONS.. I FIGURE I WOULD GO TO THE MAGIC KINGDOM ON TUESDAY, WHEN THE CROWDS ARE LOW.. BUT ON SATURDAY, I'M LOOKING TO GO TO AK,, AND THEN MAYBE MK FOR SPECTROMAGIC..IT'S HARD TO RESIST ALL THOSE DARN LIGHTS!! HOW ABOUT YOU CAROLEE? ARE YA GONNA TRY FOR THE PARADE AT MK ON SAT? OR WILL IT BE MOBBED? (I JUST MAY HAVE TO BE PART OF THAT MOB!:thedolls:).

I decided not to go during that time due to the heat. I may go in October if they have an AP discount. Not sure.....

I'm still going in January though.....

I wonder if the crowds for Labor day compare to the crowds during Spring Break. I was there in March and was BLOWN AWAY at how crowded it was.

I would be VERY surprised if the Labor Day crowds were even close to Spring Break. It is usually a very mildly crowded, enjoyable time to go.! Nevertheless, have a super time in Oct.!

I'm glad to hear that the crowds are not as bad as easter break. We will be going labor day weekend and the week following labor day.:thumbsup:
