We have reserved a woods view at the WL. Are there woods view rooms that you can see the MK fireworks from, (without paying more money to upgrade)?

We don't want to change from a woods view, but I want to put in a room request a few days before we leave, and want to know if a view of MK was even a possible request.

Thanks!

There are a few woods view rooms in the North side building which have an MK view. Doesn't hurt to put in a request, but there are very few.

We stayed in a standard view room last holiday season at WL. The room overlooked the service areas behind the restaurants - not a great view unless you're like me and love watching the behind-the-scenes action.

Anyhow, we were in our room on New Year's Eve at midnight and had a perfect view of MK's fireworks. Granted there was no music, but then there weren't mobs of people either!!!

We were at the WL this past Dec and got to see fireworks every night from our Standard View room (5th floor above service area). It was great on nights when they have MVMCP!

You actually have a better chance of seeing the fireworks if you book a STANDARD view room and request either the 6th floor or 5th floor on the MK side of the lodge.

The woods view rooms are very scattered around the resort. The woods view rooms on the MK side of the resort will have the view of the fireworks obscured by the Contemporary resort and the trees, which are thicker over there. The treeline directly across from the standard rooms on that side of the lodge is very thin and you can see right through them. If you get a room on the 6th floor, the view of the fireworks is 100% clear.
