Hi! We are going to WDW in 19 days and have had all of our ADR's for a while. We are going to be eating at 1900 PF in GF (even with the refurb) on the 14th. Now my dad and his fiance who live in Orlando want to join us. We are already a party of 7 and they make 9. Will adding them be a big deal? Also, how will the check work since we are on DDP? Thanks!

We just had a very similar situation. We were trying to up from 4 to 7. It all depends on the seating at the restaurant and availability. You can call Disney Dining and ask what they have available. For us, it worked out best to just add the additional 3 as a separate reservation because our restaurant (Nine Dragons) doesn’t have tables for more than 6.

We are the very first seating for the day and they have tables that are very close to each other, practically like eating together. Since we will be the first to be seated, getting us together won’t be a problem.

For you, you might have to change to a larger table or add them as a second reservation with a request to be seated together. You may have to be flexible with your time for either of those situations.

As for the DDP, for us it worked out easily that they will be a separate table. But the CM told us just to explain to the server when you order who is on the DDP and who is not and they’ll take care of it from there.

The DDP won't enter into it, like the previous poster said, just let your server know, no biggie. The deal is, that at this late date there might not be anything available so you will have to let your dad know that it just might not be possible.
