For this question, we'll pit a couple of Epcot World Showcase restaurants against each other again. Which would you choose: England's Rose and Crown Pub or Germany's Biergarten?

Y100Q58 will appear in Vacation Planning, probably on Friday.

Tough choice, as neither place seems to have too appealing menus, though fish and chips are okay. I'll go with Rose and Crown.

I vote Biergarten because it's a family tradition. I've eaten there almost as many times as I've been to Walt Disney World. Never been to Rose and Crown, not that I wouldn't try it, but the Biergarten is high on our list of must dos. Going with my family growing up we always went, and now that I'm married DH loves it too, so there's no contest.

I haven't eaten at either restaurant, but I chose R&C simply because of the view of Illuminations!

Definitely Rose and Crown! Love the Fish and Chips and all the desserts so far have been really good. Can't wait to go back in Dec.!!

I chose Rose & Crown because I love to get seated outside & watch Illuminations. Plus it doesn't hurt that they always make me a Vegetarian Cottage Pie. :tasty: I have heard lots of good things about Biergarten, though. I just never have been there.

While I love the UK and I'm sure Rose and Crown has lovely views there is nothing on their menu to suit my taste. I could eat (and drink) at Biergarten all day however!

This was another tough choice - I like both, but...
I voted for R&C. Gotta have me those Black & Tans ! The menu and the view aren't bad, either.

I am a big R&C fan! DH LOVES it, loves the food, and I have never had better or more friendly service anywhere in the World.

We look DD there for lunch last time, and she loved being in a "real" British pub...the beer selection can't be beat either!

R&C all the way for us :mickey::thumbsup:

went with biergarten...love the fish and chips and the view from R&C, but give the edge to the wurst and kraut.

Have eaten at both and liked both, but I liked R&C a little more, plus the Illumination view doesn't hurt either

Gotta love the food and entertainment at Biergarten. We're trying R&C for the first time this trip, but currently Biergarten is a must do for every trip.

Biegarten all the way!

There are 20 fish and chip shops and probably twice as many English pubs within a mile of my house so Biergarten wins it for me.

DW and I love the R&C Pub, we haven't actually eaten in the restaurant, but the Pub is high on our list. We are trying Beirgarten for the 1st time in two weeks, so after that our favor may change, but for now R&C for us.

I haven't tried either one, but I picked Biergarten, I'm not sure why. The atmosphere seems more unique, I suppose.

Tough choice, as neither place seems to have too appealing menus,

:ditto: I chose R&C simply because of my English heritage.

I've eaten at Biergarten, and DH and I didn't really care for it. It wasn't horrible...you just have to REALLY like German food. Though, the show was great!

DH and I try to eat at both of these each visit - but he prefers Biergarten because it is a buffet. I secretly like the food better at R & C - I say secretly because I am 3/4 German! shhhhhh.... :secret:

Biergarten food is just so-so, you have to go for the entertainment. But for atmosphere AND food, I gotta say, "PASS THE FISH AND CHIPS!"

I haven't eaten at either but I do have an ADR for the Biergarten on my upcoming trip. My BF is German and wanted to go last year but we already had our plans booked.

didnt dine at either this past trip but did :beer:at R&C
R&C for me, as i dont really care for family style seating and the food seems better at R&C.

I have to go with Biergarten especially for the atmosphere/entertainment.

been to the Rose twice, last year and of course this year and both times we were very pleased, now we've never eaten at Germany, not because of the menu, but because of the way that you're seated together with everyone on a long table, that's not for us, now maybe they've changed that and if that's the case then we'll give it a go next year.

Have eaten at R&C but not again. Sorry Fish and Chips could be more. Not too high on my list for a buffet but will do this before R&C again.

I chose Rose and Crown. But I have not been to either. :secret:

I have ressies for R&C for Illuminations in July and I am excited.

I just can't gear up for a sausage buffet. People have lots of good things to say about it though.

I personally don't like either, so I would send my hubby to have one and go something I like.
