Can anyone recommend a particular building to stay in that is convenient to the bus stops? From the maps, it looks a lot smaller than POR which we loved last time, but we want to try something different! Thanks.

It is a lot smaller then POR, honestly it's not far to the bus stop from any of the buildings. If you have a second thing (like close to the pool etc) I'd ask for that instead. Enjoy!!

When I stayed there, it seemed like every building was really close to the bus etc. The resort is so small, it's not a long walk anywhere.

Wow, you guys are fast... are any of the buildings quieter than the others? We don't have kids and we're not sure how much time we'd be spending at the pool (although it looks fabulous!)

Building 4 is close to the bus stop and the food
court. Building 3 is not bad either. Have a great
time. We just got back and we stayed in 4.
We had a wonderful time in the land of :mickey:

We've stayed in Bldg. 1, 4 and 5. We loved 4, because it was so close to bus stop. It was a very quiet bldg and close to the food court and pool. We just love this resort and always go visit it even if we are staying somewhere else.

We just got back Fri. and stayed in 4. It was very close to bus and food court. It was really quiet too! No noise from the pool either.

Building 7 is the furthest from the pool and main building, and, therefore, has the lowest foot traffic. You can take a shortcut to the bus stop by cutting through the garden areas in front of Building 4 and into the parking area. You will find a path that leads past the kitchen loading area and right to the bus stops. The only problem with this is you wont pass through Sassagoula Floatworks and you wont get any beignets. Bummer.

Do try to spend some time at the pool and the poolside bar, Mardi Grogs. It is beautiful and not always noisy. This is a very small resort and you don't get the crowds like other resorts. Also check out the aligator band on the way to the pool.

We chose building 5. It was nice. It was near the pool but we were on the opposite side of the pool so never had any noise issue. It really is so small that nothing is far.

Our family has stayed at POFQ 3 times and always request building #5 standard view room. It it close to pool, food court, and laundry. (we rent a car so don't worry about how close it is to the bus stop). The standard view is looking out over a courtyard with a fountain. I love to get up in the morning, get a cup of coffee and sit on a bench in the courtyard for a few minutes or walk down the path to POR while everyone else in the family is getting up. We will be staying here again in September. We really love this resort and after staying at the other moderates found this to be our favorite, it has such great amenities. You can't go wrong by staying here.

Hello!
We stayed a month ago in building 6. We felt like we were exactly half way between the main building (check in, the store, the food court, the arcade) and the bus stop. We were just a hop skip and a jump from the pool and boat dock. There was a beautiful garden right outside of our door with benches. Between us and the pool was another garden with a fountain.

I cannot imagine another hotel being nicer.

no buildings are really bad-- everything is in a short walking distant. Nice and quiet and smaller then other resorts.

We stayed in building 4 last year, at were amazed at how close we were to the bus stop andthe food court...it almost seemed like the bus stopped at the door...it was wonderful (but still quiet!). We were also just a short walk to the pool, I just love the small-size of FQ, nothing is too far away :mickey:

We loved building 7! It is quiet over there, as a previous poster stated. Also, it is the building closest to the path to head over to POR. We really enjoyed taking a stroll over to POR in the evening... all the lights on the pathway, the carriages going past... very peaceful and romantic. :cloud9: We also loved the foodcourt at POR (before the recent remodel, so I'm not sure what it's like now), so would walk over there to get a snack or refill and then go back to our building. We felt as if we truly got two resorts for the price of one.
