Trying to decide on a new hotel experience.

A pool slide is very important to the 8 year old.

We have stayed at:

1) the Polynesian - didn't like the dark slide.

2) AKL - very much enjoyed the straight forward slide.

3) BC - liked the smaller slide, but not the bigger one.

Can any of you pool experts give me some info on the WL slide? Dark? Simple? Huge?

I've seen the pool at BWI - DD wonders if it is really, really fast?

Thanks a lot every one!

Hello SimbaGal,

My 7 year old WORE OUT the Luna Park pool slide at BW, the "Keister Coaster" this past week. It's 200 feet long and empties out into 3.5' of water.

It wasn't particularly fast but it sure was fun.

I'll bet she went down 50 times.

No better resort-pool slide in WDW than the "Jaguar Slide" at the pool at Coronado Springs. Great pool, great slide, great poolside atmosphere.

My kids, and I, loved the pool slide at SSR even better than AKL.

Althought the slide at WL isn't huge they did enjoy it. I think it's a good size and there is a very short/small part that was enclosed not like the Poly where most of that is enclosed. I think they would like the WL slide a lot.
