We usually take our Christmas card picture when we are in WDW on vacation. I was wondering if anyone had any different ideas for places we could take some pictures.

Our Christmas card last year was a shot of us in Santa's sleigh at BB mini-golf (wearing our matching Hawaiian garb for the luau). It turned out great!

This year's picture is one of my favourites of my boys....It was taken under Spaceship Earth, and they are sitting on the railing killing themselves laughing, while the HUGE raindrops fall from the very dark sky behind.... It captures the pure joy of the moment..... Other years, we have gone with Sorcerer Mickey --- and I am tempted to use one taken with the Mickey statue at the All Star Sports this year.

Last year we went in December and got a family picture wearing our holiday Mickey ears with Santa. We have also used the Christmas scene area behind the Christmas shop in DTD. The December I plan on using a photo in front of the gingerbread house in the GF. I love the sleigh idea!:mickey:

There are some great spots for pictures. I like the rose garden with the castle in the background. I love the grounds at the GF with all the pointsettias. There are gazebos at Yacht Club that would be fun.

I don't know if they have it every year, but we had a picture taken in Epcot 2 years ago that was really nice. It was in Germany next to the lake, it's on a little platform with a Christmas tree on one side and presents on the other. Another good place is in the Polynesian lobby I have a picture of my sister and I in front of the poinsettias and all you see is red and green behind us. :santa3:

We won't be there when it is decorated for Christmas. We will be in WDW September 12 - 23. If we were there during the Christmas decoration time we would be golden.

We go in October and always use a picture from the trip for our cards. This year I want the boys in the Christmas store in DTD with tons of Mickey Head ornaments around them.

Ye Old Christams Shoppe in Liberty Square. Just outside the store, they have an old-fashion horse drawn sleigh. You can sit in the sleigh and have cinderella Castle in the background.

If you go to MGM, right outside the Mama Melrose restaurant, there is a snowman. Right behind the snowman is a window front with the words "it's a wonderful life shop" written on it.
Here is me next to it.

One year we had our picture, wearing our Christmas Mickey ears, taken in front of one of the outlandishly lighted houses of the Osborn Family lights on the MGM Backlot. The house actually kind of looked like ours in the "dark".

We used the pictures for our cards the following year. We had several people, including my father, who came to visit us saying "they just had to see our house so decorated". LOL! They were all disapointed but we got a real kick out of it.:D

Unfortunately, the residential street is no more.:(
