Construction @ AKL

I've read there is construction going on at AKL.
Has anyone encountered it? Is it enough to make me change reservations for Sept.? I have a pool view for the end of Sept and would change to Boardwalk if the construction is a great problem.

The 5th and 6th floors of the AKL are being converted from cash rooms into larger DVC rooms, as part of the build-out of the new Animal Kingdom Villas DVC resort at AKL.

Construction will only occur during the day.

When we were there at the end of April we never heard any noise at all. The only clue that there was construction going on was you could see plastic over doors and their was furniture on the balconies. We were sitting by the pool and did not hear anything even though we could see the rooms being renovated. We were there in the late afternoons for our customary afternoon break.

We are planning a trip at the end of August/beginning of April. It's a tossup between the Poly and the AKL. Construction at the AKL may push us towards another choice even though it's our favorite hotel.

I would also like some more information on this.
