We've always gone at either Easter or October but if we want to go next year we will probably have to go at the start of Summer. I was wondering if there is a big difference in temperature, rain and crowds in Summer compared to other times?
Thanks for your help! :mickey:

You said "start of summer" which I interpret as early June. If that's the case it will be about the same weather-wise as early to mid October. Later October is cooler. It will definitely be warmer, and a little rainer, than Easter. While the rest of the country gets its rainy season in the spring, FL tends to get its during the summer and late fall. Early summer crowds will be much better than Easter week, and only slightly more (and maybe even close to the same) than October since October has become so popular recently.

We were there last weekend and it was very crowded. We went the same weekend last year and found it surprisingly uncrowded. There was a big difference in crowd levels between last year and this year!

The last time we went in October, we found the crowds to be moderate but manageable.

Besides the heat difference there is more rain in the summer than October.
