Which room/blocks/years are prefered rooms at Pop Century?

everytime we've had a preferred room we are put by the hippie dippie pool in the 60's jungle book buildings. its really nice cause we are extremelly close to the main pool, bus stop, food court, arcade and most importantly the bar:beer:. the other pools are nice, but the rooms out there have to walk a little further to get to the bus - but they are closer to their cars if they have rental cars or anything in the parking lot which is a plus to those of us who drive to the parks and other resorts.

What do yall think about the 50's rooms? Are they too far from the busses, food etc? we dont use a car while in fl. so bus closeness is important to us.

DW and I stayed in the 50's section, our room was right behind Tramps head. We enjoyed the section and the walk to the front building, while not as short as from most of the 60's section was not bad at all.

We've stayed in the 60's part of POP for two annual visits to DW and we really enjoy it's proximity to the food, the buses that take us to all the parks as well as being close to the pool. If pool noise is too much for you, ask for a room not facing the pool but still in the 60's wing!

50's A building (Lady) is probably the closest of the 50's buildings. We stayed there and it was a really quick walk to the main building if you use the quick walkway by the bellhop/luggage check area.

We weren't in a preferred room either although from what I've heard they now mix in the preferred rooms all throughout the resort. They aren't just in the 60's area anymore.
