Now that I've posted the thread to find our what everyone's favorite "thrill" ride is I love to know what eveyone's favorite "tame" ride is!

I picked some rides for the poll but if there is something I forgot (that you love after all there are so many rides in WDW to love they couldn't possibly all fit into a poll) please vote for "other" and let me know what ride your individual favorite is!

My favoprite tame ride is Carousel of Progress. Although a lot of people think this ride is boring I don't think MK would be the same to me without this ride. I absolutley love COP:blush:

I chose IASW - I know the song can get stuck in your head for days, but I love it anyway!

I had to go with HM. I absolutely love that ride. PotC and Splash run a very, very close second!

My favorite ride is Peter Pan. I don't know what it is about that ride, but I cannot leave WDW without riding it at least once!

How do you expect me to choose? I'm not voting here, because they all are excellent rides and I'd be lying if I said I have a favorite.

But personally, I wouldn't include Dinosaur here; I like thrill rides and think that it is quite tame, mut many people would beg to differ.

Love the little "drop" in the dark in POTC. Any of the boat rides are refreshing, especially this one since it's in a darker, seemingly cooler setting. POTC to me feels more like a free-floating boat - you don't see a track like some of the others. The waiting queue is great, too.

Kilimanjaro was almost my first choice - love the fact that each ride is unique and I love animals.

Yeah!!! And AK. That park (acreage wise) is huge.

There are so many of these that I actually LOVE. That is such a hard question. There isn't one of them that I don't like. I ride each of these every time we go.

I voted HM because of the ballroom scene. Of course, we get stuck nearly every time we go on it and it is NEVER there! POTC was second..and I love the updates!

Well I think we can all agree that the best part of any Disney park is all the rides are different and easy to love. The ability to go anywhere on Disney property and forget about your troubles is truly a reality. The rides are timeless treasures which allow us to remember how to be a kid again...and what a wonderful feeling that is. On the poll, there were several rides I love...HM, SW, but Soarin' is a newer and free-flying ride that I will vote for tonight...:thumbsup:The Queen

HM is a true classic and I had to vote for it, but at some point Soarin might take this spot for me. Time will tell

Spaceship Earth for me. The fact that it will be closed in September has put a big hole in our next trip... :(

I went on Soarin' for the first time ever in California - I thought it was brilliant :joy:

I'm glad that it has now come to WDW for all to enjoy

Haunted Mansion!
I really don't know why I've always loved this ride so much, other than to say that they got all the ride elements to work together perfectly. As geeky as it may seem, I'm sitting here right now in my 1999 Haunted Mansion T-shirt....

I went with Pirates, but Haunted Mansion, Soarin' and Kilamanjaro Safari are nipping at the heals.

Well that was too tough! I voted Small World because it has been my fave since I was 2. It is the very first thing I get on when we arrive. That being said, there are some that at least come close to tying. Here are my faves for each park.

MK - Small World

EPCOT - Soarin' (would tie with Space Ship Earth, but since it is going down for major refurb...)

MGM - Great Movie Ride (Muppet 3 - D)

AK - Don't care for much here so I'll go with a show. Festival of the Lion King

Has to be PotC. Soarin' is outstanding but I'd say it still falls short.
