CRT and gratuity?

Hello!! We will be dining at CRT and I wanted to know, since we had to pay for the whole amount in advance, does anyone tip extra? (I believe the tip is already included in the price I paid)

We didn't tip any extra (actually, we didn't tip extra at all when we were on the DDP). I didn't feel that the service was that spectacular, so I was not inclined to tip above and beyond the 18% that was already included.

I think that if you get exceptional service, you could leave an additional tip, to show your appreciation.

I don't recall if the tip is included or not...either way, we've left a tip anyway. If it was included, we left extra.

We dined at CRT in May of 2006 and prepaid our reservation. We asked how the gratuity was added, and we were told that a 13% gratuity is added in, we left an additional gratuity to make it equal 18%. We did have really good service, and they did treat my little girl like a princess. So it was well worth it.
