Help me decide.....

Between October 5 through Oct. 10 or November 17 through November 25. Both are during holidays, I know, but the only time our schedules allow. If we go in November, we can stay longer, but not sure it's worth dealing with the Thanksgiving crowds, however, staying longer, we would not have the time constraints. What would you do?

I'd probably go with the October dates.

I agree, I think I'd do October. You'd have more time in November, but the crowds will be increasing steadily throughout your vacation, as you get closer to Thanksgiving and the long weekend, I think.

We visited Oct 2004 (I think the 10th-17th), and it wasn't a ghost town, but it wasn't overly crowded. Plus we still have some summer-like weather.

I'll be the odd man out and say I'd go with the November dates simply because of the extra 3 days. But, that's just me.

I think I'd go with the November dates for two reasons 1-you get 3 extra days and 2-all the christmas decorations.

I'd go with the Nov dates. That way you can see some of the Christmas decorations.

I would choose October been twice not to crowded , I heard November over the Holiday can be busy.

Thanks everyone. Well my husband is leaning towards October, especially since we've been before in October and he wants to make sure we get to swim, plus he won't have to take as many days off from work. I'm also finding much better rates on airline tickets for October, so far. Oh, decisions, decisions. :confused::confused::confused:

This is a tough decision - In October, you get the Wine & Food Festival and MNSSHP. In November, you get 3 more days, Christmas decorations and crowds. I hate the crowns and the the W&F festival so I would go with October.

Well, we decided to change our trip from November to the first week in October so everything has been changed and taken care of. My kids were thrilled b/c now we'll be there even sooner! :thumbsup: Thanks again for helping me make up my mind. You guys are great! :mickey:
