WDW Railroad?

If I were planning on arriving @ MK as it opens & going to Frontierland 1st,
Is the quickest & easiest way via The Railroad?
The maps say see time schedule? Are they running first thing in the morning?
Would it be quicker to just walk/walk fast there?

that is what we do almost anytime we go to MK. The only time we do not do this is when we are with first timers. They need to enjoy the magic and that includes walking down Main St to the castle.

Actually it is faster to walk you will beat the train by a couple of minutes. By the time the train loads and actually leaves it would be faster to was through Adventureland:thumbsup:

I would agree it is probably quicker to walk - and never pass a chance to walk up Main St!

That's kinda what I was thinking, Just wanted to confirm.
Maybe I'll hit the Railroad just for fun later.

P.S. I'll be starting to roll out all my questions as I'm down to 67 days 19 hours & 10 min. before my trip.
Any advice would be wonderful....
My son & I have been in 2003, but this time he's bringing a friend that has never been to Disney (or anywhere for that matter)!
I'll be sure to do the Main Street Walk...
I did write stuff down as I read everything, but the notes are all over the place.
