Hi Everyone,

Our party of 4 adults have two concierge level rooms booked at the Wilderness Lodge in December. We also have family in Florida that may visit us at the resort once or twice throughout our stay. Are there any rules against non-disney resort guests enjoying the takings of the concierge lounge if they are visiting us once or twice during our stay?

Thanks.

The concierge lounge at the Disney World deluxe resorts are restricted to concierge-level (or club-level, as it is called now) guests only. :mickey:

I would think it would be okay for them to visit you but not partake in what the lounge has to offer since the other guests are paying for it, but I wouldn't see any reason they wouldn't be able to visit you.

The amenities are reserved for club level guests, but you can consult with the staff because you probably have some options. First of all, if it's during a low occupancy time of year, they may allow it without question. The problem is, that the lounge facilities are not that large and seating for registered guests can be hard to come by certain times of the day. If they can't do that, considering you have 2 rooms booked and only 2 people in each room, technically, you could add another 4 guests onto your reservation. They could charge you an additional $25 per adult over the limit of two, but in my experience, they will sometimes just waive the fee. That way, everyone in the party will have a room key, can use the lounge and the pools.

1) You would have to go down the elevator for friends.
2) Then, you need to escort them up on the elevator.
3) When you get off the elevator, the CM will ask who they are.
4) If they are not registered guests, they are asked to leave.
5) That is why the CM is stationed at the elevator.
6) I would not risk the embarrassment.

NOTE: As mentioned, some CM's might inadvertently let your friends up, but in any event, they won't let them use the lounge for food or beverage. Additionally, since the seating area is so small, they might not even let them sit.

Rusty, I respect your first hand information with the WL. I posted that they should ask the CM's about their options because of my experience at other CL's. On one visit to the GF, my dad and grandfather were okayed to come up and sit with us one afternoon in the lounge. At the YC, we've been given the okay to have my cousin stop by and visit one evening. If it were a similar situation, I would think that it would be handled case by case.

If that isn't okay, then they still do have the option of simply adding them to their room for the day (up to 4 guests anyway).
