Has anyone had afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian before? What was your experience like? Do you have to make advanced reservations? My DM and I are thinking of doing it on our vacation in September and just wanted to hear more.

my boyfriend and I did this in January and loved it! Definitely crowded, but nice just the same. I cant wait to go there again - especially for the scones!

Haven't tried it but, based on Dis board reports, DW and I have booked an ADR for 3:30 PM on Friday, 10/26/07. To be followed by a quick Monorail trip to MK for MNSSHP. It's our elegant to fantasy day sandwiched between days of noshing around the world at the IF&WF.

We found the tea relaxing and enjoyable with a good variety of flavors from which to choose. The food items, however, are excruciatingly overpriced and not a very good value.
