Share your travel tips here:

1. Give each child a roll of quarters and let them know that they can have all of the money to spend on whatever they like, but each time they ask a question the comes close to "How much further" they loose a quarter.

2. Buy small little trinkets and give them as gifts or prizes during a long drive.

My DD's take small pillows and blankets with them. It's great when they want to nap (even for the 12 yo) and it's a little piece of home in the resort. They also take books, coloring books and crayons, Gameboys, MP3 or CD players, and sometimes the portable DVD player.
