FL Residents: water park discounts

Hi everyone! I'm planning on hitting Typhoon Lagoon on my trip to WDW in August. I think I've read on these boards that there's a FL resident, after 4 p.m. pass offered during the summer. Anyone know if this is true?

For those of you who have been in the parks in the late afternoon, how was the experience? I've been to both BB and TL many times, but always arrived in the am and left mid-afternoon. Are the lines for the slides non-existent? Are there any places open for dinner?

They are now offering an annual water park pass for FL residents. It includes both parks, and you can get in after 2 pm. ($59)
Go to the official Disney site for exact info. On the WDW page go to the top right and click on FL resident.
