fridges in pop century

i am booked into POP jul 22-30/07. i thought i remembered see a post that the fridges are standard in the rooms. i was there back in 2004 and i can not remember if i paid for it then. if anyone knows,i would like to hear from you

We had one in our Pop room (preferred) in 2005 without requesting one, and never had to pay for it. We didn't have one this past December (again, a preferred room), but we didn't request one either.

I thought I had read that at least the preferred rooms were going to have them standard, but goodness knows I could be wrong. Are they still by request only? I would like to have one this year.

Fridges are standard in Moderates and Deluxes. You must rent them in values. They're about $10/day. I would bring a good cooler...actually I do bring a good cooler.

They aren't standard; you have to pay $10 a day to get one. But I don't know if you can ask for a room with one and then pay for it then.

That's how I feel too. I'd love to have a fridge to put desserts in but I wouldn't pay 10 bucks for it.. Just too much. Might as well pay a little bit more than that and stay at a preferred where it's standard (I think).

If I am paying for a preffered room which I am at Pop on Thurs,I think that you should get one automatically ,but hey that's my opinion.I am going to try and bring a collapsable cooler of some sort to put in my suitcase.Has anyone got any good ones that they have bought? :mickey:
