Some confusion over extra magic hours

Hey all trying to help a friend with her trip. She is going in October, she was doing research on extra magic hours and noticed that some nights of extra magic fall on the same day of the Mickey Halloween party. She and I were assuming that even though it is an extra magic hour night she would not be allowed in the park due to the party?! Is this correct?! She wanted to make some dining plans for certain nights and is finding they will not work out due to the party. Can anybody help with this question? Thanks

Not sure what your friend was looking at, but none of the currently released dates appear conflict.

I wonder if you are refering to 9/30? Disney changed the Magic Kingdom's hours on that date. It was orginally open to 8 pm on that day with evening EMH. Not sure when, but I noticed yesterday, the park is now only open to 7 pm with no evening EMH. Which would make it a possible Halloween party night?

Ok, I asked her what the dates were and what site she found the dates. She went to another site whose name I will not mention but it is one that is generally trusted and these are the dates listed

September 14, 21, 28, 2007 -- October 1, 4, 5, 9, 11, 12, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 26, 29, 30, 31, 2007 --

Based on the above listed dates at least 4 of the dates conflict with the Magic hours that are posted.

I'm kind of confused and told her perhaps she could call Disney and find out??? She was asking what we do during the Mickey Very Merry party and I told her we usually schedule places to eat before the park closes down for the party. Now I'm looking forward to seeing what the magic hours are going to be like in late November and into December.
