I read a post about the arcade in the Contemporary. Can someone tell me about it? I know my son would be very interested! :spend:

I can't tell you anything new about it, but back in the 70s, when pinball was big, they had a machine called Hercules. It took 3 people to play: 1 for each flipper and 1 to shoot the ball. The ball was about the size of a large softball.

In my experience, Disney has kept up with the technology in their arcades.

Its probably the big arcade on site, they have a ton of games for everyone, little kids to big kids. The games give tickets and the arcade has a redemption counter where you can pick out small prizes. My kids love it there. Its quickly becoming our first night tradition.

They are actually in the process of building a new one in-place of the Fantasia Shop on the Grand Concourse level.

The new arcade is tentatively scheduled to open this summer.
