What is the most generous thing a CM has done for you?? 2 years ago 3 days before leaving for Disney my Mother fell and broke her arm so bad her bone came through her skin and required major surgery to repair with plates and pins. When my Husband and Son and I went (yes, we still went, she insisted, no trip insurance that year! Plus the hard part was over and she was finally resting comfortably) We decided we would cam cord people (guests and CM's) from all over saying something to my Mom. We even got the General Manager of the park to say something! One CM we asked to say "Hi" did and after asked what my Mom's favorite character was. We told her Mickey. She told us to wait a few minutes she would be back. She returned with a Mickey T-Shirt signed by all the characters. THe signatures were everywhere, front and back! It was such an amazing experience. It brought tears to my eyes that someone was so very generous. I was wondering if anyone else received any type of special surprises on one of their trips??:mickey:

Last September we arrived at Pop at 1pm but our luggage didn't make it to our room til after midnight  We were supposed to go to Cap'n Jack's for my B-Day but had to cancel because we had no change of clothes or anything we needed to shower, etc. After numerous calls and trips to the luggage check in with no luck I went to the front desk to complain. The CM apologized and said he would contact the Liberty Tree Tavern (where our next ADR was) and have them do something special as well as something from the resort. The next day at the LTT we were getting close to finishing our meal and talking to our waiter. My B-Day disaster was brought up and he felt bad. LTT obviously didn't get any message from Pop but it was water under the bridge. Next thing I know one of the managers of the Disney Restaurants came to our table with a whole B-Day cake and apologized. It was very sincere and I told her she didn't have to do that because it wasn't her fault it was because of the Magical Express. She understood but insisted that as a Disney CM she make up for it. As we were eating the cake she returned and said she's friends with the manager at Cap'n Jack's and could get us a table which ever day we had open, and did so. I'll never forget that. :mickey:

Last time I went to WDW I was having problems with my pal mickey, so I took it to the Dark Room at MGM. The cast members there were wonderful, they tried new batteries, they tried rebooting him, but I guess there was trouble with his wiring, so they replaced him with a brand new pal mickey. I thought that was trully wonderful of them and great customer service. Afterwards I asked the cast member who was so wonderful to me if we could pin trade. He said of course and I traded for his Belle. After the trade was complete, he said the Belle needed a friend so he gave me a hidden Mickey Cinderella pin! I thought it was so sweet, he had me sign his autograph book and gave me a magical moment certificate. It was definately the most generous cast member moment/ magical moment I've had at the parks.

My wife and I were on our Honeymoon in Sept of last year. At the end of the night after the fireworks in MGM we went into the Magic of Animation for the last show. After leaving the show, we went into the area where you draw a character with an animator.

Since it was the last show, we ended up being the only 2 in there with the artist.

When we told her it was our honeymoon, she got very excited. She asked us what WE wanted to draw. When we told her Stitch was our favorite, she said he was her specialty and showed us both how to draw him (my wife's was perfect, mine was uhmm.. well not). She didn't rush us at all and after we were done, she wrote "Congratulations **** and ****, signed it and gave it to us.

It is now hanging in our guest room with pride and remains one of our favorite memories of Disney and our Honeymoon.

We had an ADR at Kona for dinner the night of our arrival during our trip in June, 2006. Our DS is a very picky eater and doesn't like much of anything.

Noticing that DS, 22 months at the time, wasn't eating very well, our server actually sat down beside him and personnally fed him his dinner. Shortly there after, having a nice full belly, he fell asleep on my lap before we even got to dessert. She certainly didn't have to take the time, but it was important to her.

It was certainly very memorable for both DH and myself. CM DO care about their guests!

As I believe a person's time is very valuable, I think this was very generous.

Last year my wife and I went to MNSSHP and made the mistake of taking the ferry to the TTC instead of heading to our bus. I thought there would also be busses there and I really wanted to take the ferry at night before we came home, But it was past midnight, and when we got to the TTC all there was was ONE bus and his shift was over. He was chatting with a co-worker about to leave. I explained what happened, and he said "Where's your resort?" - "All star Movies" - "Well get in! I'll take ya" and he drove us "home" to our resort. Door to door service.

I wrote to WDW Guest Services to highly commend him. :number1:

Back in 2001, we splurged on our first-ever "all inclusive" trip to WDW which included tickets to La Nouba. Being several pounds heavier then than now, when we were seated, I found that it was very uncomfortable for me and knew that I could not spend the entire show that way. Of course, I was devastated and wanted to leave immediately. On the way out, a really nice CM saw that I was upset, and asked what the problem was. I was embarrased to say, but finally told her. She said not to worry, she had the perfect spot for us to watch the show. She then proceeded to lead us up to the balcony where there were actual chairs to sit in. She explained that this area was usually reserved for "VIP" guests and that she felt that we fit that bill. We enjoyed the show so much, and were very comfortable. Just before the final curtain, she arrived at our seats with an official La Nouba clown nose and presented it to us. She told us that we were officially a part of the La Nouba family now! We will never forget that kindness. :mickey:

My brother was sick with a bad ear infection during our vacation in 1996. He was only three-years-old at the time.

When a Cast Member at Port Orleans (now called Port Orleans French Quarter) learned about Justin's condition, he or she sent a care package up to our room.

Later in the day, Mickey Mouse made an appearance in our room.

The first year I brought an ECV from home, DH didn't think to bring a small tool kit to tighten cables, etc. My scooter kept jerking to a stop, and DH realized he needed some help with it. He didn't want to spoil the whole afternoon messing with it, so he asked the rental place if they could find a place to "park" it, and then asked to rent a WC. The wonderful CM's not only gave him the WC rent free, they fixed the scooter while we were out having fun.

That's above and beyond !:thanks:

Some of these stories are so amazing! Mine aren't as exciting, but meant so much to my kids.

On my oldest DD's 5th birthday, we had breakfast at CRT. At one point, she made a remark about wishing she could see Tink and I explained again about how Tink's wings are too fragile to be out and about. Aurora was at the next table over. As we left and were walking down the stairs, we heard a sweet, high-pitched "Tinkerbellllll!" from above and then felt the pixie dust raining down on us. (Another Intercottee was there and said that Aurora had excused herself quickly from their table to rush over and do that-- how cool!)

Later that week, we were waiting for Spectro and my kids were playing with their light up toys. A sweet CM walked over to DS, who was 3, and asked if she could see his. She swapped it out for one that was lighting up better. We hadn't even realized there was anything wrong with it. DS talked about it for weeks.

1) We had the same problem with a pal mickey. So they gave us a new one. I tried to give them the broken one back and they said just keep it.

2) Our last trip our plane was 3 hours late getting in. We were checking in at ASM and i was looking at my watch. The CM asked if everything was ok. I told him we were late getting in and wanted to get on a ride before our dinner reservation. He said dont worry about it. After finishing checking us in he said come with me. We went in a van and he took us to the park. Walked us to Space Mountain. We got in the fast pass line and went to dinner.

We missed the fireworks cruise, because the reservationists gave us the wrong time  to show up at the dock. A really LONG story short, the CM at the Contemporary set us up in a suit with a view of the fireworks and all the food and drink we could have :fworks: . What made what she did amazing, is that this was not part of her job. The fireworks cruise does not fall under the Contemporary. She is just the resort manager. She went well above and beyond her duty’s to make our group of 12 people happy :clappy: !! Pure Disney magic! :mickey:

During our last trip DH and I had numerous wonderful things that CM did out of their way. DH were on our honeymoon, so I guess we stood out a bit more.

When DH and I arrived at MK for the first time, we arrived at the gates early. A CM that was standing by the ADRs entry called us over. She asked us about when we got married, why we choose to go to WDW, etc. and she asked if we had an ADR for a restraunt. I told her no, she said go to Crystal Palace. She said there should be no wait and they will sit us immediately. She let us in the park early. We took some pictures then walked over the Crystal Palace and sure enough, they sat us immediately!!!

Another wonderful CM went out of their way to make our trip special. DH and I were at MGM Studios and we arrived at Fantasmic! a bit late. We noticed a bench in the front and center empty and we tried to get at the spot, and a CM stopped us briefly. The CM mentioned that the spot was reserved for certain people only. Then the CM asked if if we were on our honeymoon and how long. The CM talked to another CM and then they agreed that DH and I could have the bench to ourselves. It was great that we didn't have to wait forever for a good spot and got the best seat in the house.

Don't know if this counts as generous??

In 2002 the first time we stayed onsite and the first "real vacation" we spent at DW the concierge at the poly told us to try CG. (I asked for the "nicest place to eat where I could take DD4 and not wear a tie")

Needless to say we knew nothing about the restaurant or it's fireworks viewing area or really anything... We were green...

Just after dinner and while we were waiting for dessert to arrive a cm/hostess came to the table and asked Maggie DD4 if she wanted to "Start the Fireworks"
We said sure .... I had no Idea what she meant so I went with her...

The cm told me that (then at least) Cindy's castle changes color alerting people the fireworks are going to start in one or two minutes. Well DD got to hit the switches that turned off the house lights ... was escorted to the front window and .... you guessed it BOOM the fireworks started...

She got a thankyou card signed by the staff on duty thanking her for "starting the fireworks"

Just another amazing memory I'll/we'll never forget

We stayed offsite but my sister and BIL were staying at one of the resorts so we’d drive over to meet them at their room and then take the busses to the parks each morning (I know not technically Dis-legal). One morning we decided to stop off at DTD for something, I can’t remember what now, and since they were heading to the parks early we decided to just catch a bus to one of the resorts and then meet up with my sis later in the day.

Well, we waited for 30 minutes, buses would come in but none left, there was no one else but us there waiting. One of the bus drivers had pulled up while we waited, she took her break then came over and chatted with us. We told her that we were just waiting to go to any resort then head to EPCOT and she offered to take us to Pop, where she was scheduled to go to next. We had the entire bus to ourselves, she told us lots of little facts as we would drive by thing and she was a wealth of knowledge about the parks. We had the most delightful conversation with her and once we reached Pop she asked us to wait just a minute and she handed my 6 y/o son an official Disney Bus Drivers License. He was soo excited and still talks about it (this happened in 04).

During our trip in '97, the next to last day we were there I got really sick and stayed in bed that morning. We were staying at CBR. I was asleep around 11o'clock when mousekeeping came in. She asked how I was feeling and told me to just get some rest.
About 15 to 20 minutes later she came back with a big bowl of the best chicken noodle soup I think that I've ever had. She told me if I needed anything to call and she would bring right to me.
The soup did the trick. I was back at the parks that evening.
I don't think I'll ever forget her kindness.

We were GREEN Disney-goers at our first resort stay. When we were checking in at ASM, my daughter was wearing her Jasmine shirt, carrying a Jasmine doll....

The CM checking us in told us where/when we could meet Jasmine IN PERSON. And Alladin too but, DD was too shy to talk or meet him (a little crush, I think)

Then she asked us if we were going to have a princess breakfast? "What's that" I said. Needless to say, it was the best surprise.

There are many many nice things that cast members have done for us, too numerous to count. :magic:

This one just popped into my head.

On our trip in 2000 my son discovered pin trading. He was 6 or 7 at the time. One of his favorite pins fell off his lanyard somewhere. I spotted s CM with the same pin and I told her that my son had lost that pin and asked her if she could wait a minute while I called him over so he could trade for it. When he got there she refused to trade for the pin he lost she insisted on giving it to him taking nothing in return. :magic:

One year, me, my mom, and my sister had reservations at the resturant at the Wide World of Sports complex, and we were running behind schedule to make it. I forget where we were located, but we were at a place where we would have to get to another bus stop to transport us over there. We get on the bus to take us to the Carribean, since it was the closest thing, and we were the only ones on the bus. The bus driver started talking to us, and when he heard what we were doing, he changed route for us and dropped us off at the Sports Center!

It was a really sweet thing for him to do, and I will always remember how kind he was to my family.

Many years ago, we were mis-informed by our travel agent about the type of room she booked us at the Contemporary. We were told that we would be staying in a suite, but she failed to mention where at the contemporary we would be staying.... ie sometimes the wings are a long walk at night! Well as the cast member who helped us bring our luggage to the room was leaving he noticed that we weren't quite happy with our accomidations.... after we explained how we had been told we would have the "prime seats" for the fireworks every night and how that wasn't exactly true, he picked up our bags and had us follow him back to the lobby (another long walk). When we got there he talked to the cast member at the front desk and to our suprise were given a new room in the tower facing magic kingdom.... to this day it is still our favorite room, and one of our best impressions of Disney service!

This is a little thing, but I will always remember it...

When my oldest DD was 2.5, we were at DTD. She dropped her beloved 'Sheepy', a small stuffed animal, somewhere in the World of Disney store. We didn't realize it until probably 20 minutes later, when we were headed for lunch at the Rainforest Cafe (didn't have lunch there but that's another story!).

After we figured out that Sheepy had left our party, I went running back to ask every cashier and employee of the World of Disney store if Sheepy had been found. After an exhausting search, my DD and I headed over to Guest Relations to ask if Sheepy had been found. A gentleman named Hastings said no animal had been found and proceeded to give us a replacement stuffed seal and a big rainbow lollipop to help my DD feel better! He was the sweetest guy and I know it helped all of us get through a frazzled afternoon.

And thankfully we did find Sheepy! A very kind guest had put her on top of a sign outside of the WoD store, probably knowing it was a very loved animal (I like to think it was another parent... someone who understands beloved stuffed animals!). We went back to Hastings to tell him that Sheepy had been found and he wished us a good day.

The CMs really do make magic!

Good thread--it's nice to read and share good stories!

We've had numerous positive experiences in which cast members went above and beyond. In a couple of situations when we encountered problems with our resort accomodations, we received substantial credits to our room and/or a voucher for a free night's stay in the future. On our anniversary last year, we received a free upgrade to BC Concierge. We have also been escorted to the "back entrance" of the Judges Tent to meet characters after a CM noticed that we kept coming in and checking the line and explaining to our daughters that it was too long a wait. At WL this past December, Mousekeeping left balloons for our children--the clear kind with the Mickey-shaped balloon inside. Just this past weekend we received free fast passes from a CM at one ride to get right on to another ride afterwards. (This was not associated with YOAMD). And most significantly, when my 4 year old got separated from us at MK last month, the CMs who assisted both her and myself were just incredible during a very stressful time.

I think that most CMs really enjoy what they do and take pride in the fact that they have the ability to brighten people's days. Though not all of our experiences have been positive, the good ones have far outweighed the bad. (Which is probably why we go back much!):mickey:

A couple of years agao when my youngest DD was about 18 months old, we were waiting patiently for Spectro to begin. As any good Disney planner would do, we had staked our spot out an hour early and in true toddler fashion, our DD was pretty antsy and cranky and didn't want to "wait". A wonderful CM came to our rescue taking her for a "walk" up and down the already roped off parade route and then to the light up souvenir cart, where she snagged her a light up Tink for free! When she brought her back to us, she gave my oldest DD a pocketful of magic "jewels"! (she was a POTC CM)

I have had a few. Once a few years ago, it was our first trip to WDW with our family. We didn't realize that you need to get a spot for Illuminations so early. About half an hour before they were to begin, we started looking for a spot, and none could be found. We asked a CM in Canada what she suggested. She put us in a spot that was not the best for viewing, we could see but there were a lot of trees, and said she was sorry, but did the kids want to "start" the show? She told the kids that Mickey went to meet Minnie's parents, and was gone for the night. She excused herself and returned with a big pop out sword. All three of the kids put their hands on the handle with Lilly, the CM, and on her count of three threw out the extended sword, and like magic, Illuminations began! Then she brought them all certificates, saying they started the fireworks.

Last year, DD8 was too short for RnRc, despite her twin being tall enough. She was super upset, she is a daredevil...and a CM saw that she was upset. While I took the other two kids, imagine my surprise at the end of the ride when who did I see directing people off the coaster...but DD8, wearing a CM vest! She got an ice cream and was CM for a day. She was tickled.

Last year, we reserved the Grand One Yacht for the fireworks. We had ordered a cake, and a chocolate slipper, for 2 separate birthdays. When we boarded, we saw the cake, but no slipper...we had to make a stop at the GF and wait a while, then they brought the slipper but also cookies and champagne and sodas as an appology, and we were able to keep the Grand One for another hour, enabling us to watch the Electrical Water Pageant from the boat too...magical, and such service...we asked for none of it! We were just happy to be on the beautiful yacht!

A few more nice things...an autographed pic of Cinderella and Prince Charming for our anniversary...a towel purse given to one of my dds, a special kiss from Pochahontas and teasing by Mulan to help include a boy that was not thrilled to be at Akershus...

I never got anything in return except a memory that will last me a lifetime!

I'll never forget his name. James. He is a castmember that works at the Hall of Presidents.

When i walked in, I noticed him talking to all the guests. He even talked to me. "Where are you from?" "Canada," I replied. "So, who is the Prime Minister of Canada?" "Stephen Harper," I replied. "Do you know who the previous PM was?" Of course I knew. "Paul Martin." "YOu're right. The last kid I asked thought it it was Steve Martin!" He asked me a couple more questions. HJust the fact that he knew who our Leaders were!!! amazing!

He then went over to a little girl from Pennsylvania and inaugurated her ast her as the 44th President of the "US and A."

He was such a wonderful, full of knowledge easy going, caring guy, I made sure I went to customer service and gace him a compliament. He made my whole day, and I have never forgotten, and never will!

Way to go, James!

We celebrated DD's 10th birthday on our last trip. We decided to go on Expedition Everest for the first time, even though the wait was estimated at almost 2 hours. I'm not one to wait in line for ANYTHING that long, but we had to try the new attraction. We got in line and almost immediately a CM spotted DD's birthday button. With great fanfare he escorted the whole family to the front of the line and put us in the front car. Then, once we were buckled in, he presented her with some "special" tickests that allowed us to go straight to the front of the line again. It made our daughter feel very special and made her whole day. Her whole trip, for that matter. She still talks about it. Back to back rides on EE in the front car with no wait. It was like a dream! We ALMOST felt guilty about everyone else having to wait so long. ;)

In 2005 it was our Family's first trip to the world. We took the girls to Typhoon Lagoon one day. Our 4 yr old DD at the time fell off of the intertube on the kiddie slide. She had pretty good scrapes on her elbow and knees. We went to first aid to get some band aids because they fix everything at our house:blush: The CM was so nice that she gave us the band aids and both girls ice cream with Mickey Sprinkles:party: It made their whole day:thumbsup:

I have a thing about the Disney bakeries and having breakfast at them. I don't know how it happened, but I've had a life long love affair with the chocolate croissants at the Main Street Bakery and since then have developed a taste for pasteries as my morning ritual when I'm in the World. Which is bizarre because I'd never do that anywhere else... But anyways ...

On our honeymoon DH and I were staying off site but arrive at park opening each day so that we could get a fastpass for the first ride we wanted to do and then go settle down at a bakery for breakfast and coffee. The third day of our trip we headed off to MGM. We were the first guests into Starring Rolls and gathered up the items that we wanted for breakfast. The CM behind the counter who was helping us was chatting with us while the other CM got the register up and running. After a few minutes they sent us on our way saying that our breakfast was a honeymoon treat on them. Nothing major, but a nice suprise none-the-less.

The best thing a CM has ever done for us is when they upgraded us from a standard king room at CSR to a Jr. King suite! It was our honeymoon and when we checked in they told us that they had upgraded us for free. We thought maybe it'd be a preferred room or something. Imagine our surprise when we opened the door and found out it was a suite, complete with living room/dining room, office area/murphy bed, a separate bedroom with a king bed and TWO bathrooms! :cloud9: It was amazing!

As a mother of three DDs who have very sacred "Teddy's" I can't even imagine losing one! My children wouldn't sleep ever again and they do take them into the parks with them! I most certainly would have personally escorted Sheepy to the nearest guest relations kiosk. I can't even begin to tell you what I would pay to see one of ours returned. A small ransom I assure you. When DD#1 lost her's for one night I overnighted another Teddy (like it would have replaced her well worn one! LOL) and the shipping cost me more than the teddy itself!!!

The CM that checked us in at the GF two years ago compt my son and daughter in law after she found out he just completed a 16 month tour in Iraq. That was awesome, because we were gonna share concierge room together as a welcome home surprise.

May God bless your son and thank you VERY much for his service. Men like him are the reason my family and I can enjoy vacations in Walt Disney World. I truly hold soldiers like your son in the highest of regards. I thank you and my children thank you.

On one of our trips after leaving 1900 Park Fare Genie from Alladin approached my youngest DD (our only at the time) and got down on one knee and gave her a rose. Where he got it from I'll never know but she felt SO special and it brought tears to my eyes.

After reading all of these posts this just solidifies my love for all things Disney. I can't tell you how many of these posts have brought tears to my eyes. Everyone asks my husband and I why we continue to travel to WDW and not somewhere else, the caribbean, Europe, Hawaii, I'll tell you why, all these stories are why. Nowhere in the world will you find the joy of wish granting so pronounced, those known and unknown. Thank you all for sharing your special moments.

We were in MGM in January on our Honeymoon. We had gotten annual passes in October during a spur of the moment trip and when December came and went without going to WDW it was so sad, just because we could have gone. Well, we saw a beverage cart as we were walking, and they had the 2006 plastic Christmas mugs in it! I was so excited! We went to the counter and asked for one of the Christmas mugs with Sprite. The trainee said the soda machine wasn't working, so I asked if I could just buy the mug, because I really wanted it, and it was the only reason I was going to buy the soda anyway. Well, the actual CM who was training this guy started talking to us. He saw the Honeymoon pin on DH and asked us how our Honeymoon was going, stuff like that. Then he handed me the Christmas mug and said we could have it for free, as a present! This was just the coolest thing ever. We never get anything for free! It made me feel special all afternoon, it was just so nice. So now I have a piece of Christmas at Disney even though I wasn't really there. Priceless. :mickey:

Last year at the MNSSHP we had a couple of neat things happen. First off, since it was our first time to this event, we decided to stake out a seat along the parade route, in front of the castle, so we could also see the villains show. When we sat down in the circle, there was only 1 other older couple that was there next to us, they were very nice and we chatted with them while we were waiting.

Well come to find out, they were the parents of someone in management at MK. He stopped by after they were setting up for the parade and was chatting with his parents and us. our DS 4 was Hook and DD2 was Tink. Tink was running around with Hook's hook. He thought that was a hoot. Anyways, just before the parade started, he told us to make sure we hold on to the kids tight when the headless horseman comes through and to watch for Captain Jack Sparrow, that he was going to give his parents a special salute and a special wave for our kids.

Well, Jack's float stopped for a short bit right in front of us. Jack gave a nice salute to the managers parents, including bowing to them as if they were royalty. :D Then he looked right at our kids and waved right to them, before the float headed off. Our DS ate it up and still talks about how Captain Jack waved just to him. :)

The other nice thing that happened was someone snagged our sons bag of candy off of our stroller when we were on Buzz's Lightyear Spin. He was devastated about it. We asked a castmember for another bag, explaining what had happened and within a minute, he produced a replacement bag full of candy. The look on my sons face was priceless.

Have to love :mickey: :pixie:

Sept 2005, we were in the Art of Disney at EPCOT. The CM made fast friends with our DD then 8. He showed her a lot of the princess prints and talked to her about her favorites. As we were leaving, he reached in his pocket and gave her a Cast Member Lanyard Belle pin with out trading!:mickey: She thought she was:cloud9:. It doesn't end there... The next day we were at AK. When we were leaving, she looked down and noticed that her treasured pin had fallen off her lanyard. We searched a few of the rides and tried to retrace our steps, but didn't find it.:(

We were then on a search. Every CM we saw was tuned upside down trying to find another pin like that one. On our last day, in Mouse Works at EPCOT, we looked at every CM we could find. Finally, the last guy, John, asked what the pin looked liked and we told him our story. He went to his manager and to see if he knew what pin it could be. When he returned, he had a brand new Belle pin just like the first! We called him our Disney hero and even got him to pose with DD for a pic! It is one of her most treasured pictures of any WDW trip!!:minnie:

CM’s at WDW always seem to go out of their way when we’re there but one particular visit pops out in my memory. It was the last time I visited WDW with my grandpa. We spent the day at Epcot and after the fireworks we started heading to the bus to take it back to the resort. My grandpa started having trouble with his legs and started getting dizzy. He had to keep stopping and after a while my mom and I started getting nervous. Finally we got to the bus stop and we sat down on a bench with my grandpa, waiting for the crowd to thin out. There was no way my grandpa could fight crowds and climb the bus steps in his condition. We watched bus after bus come and go, feeling kind of helpless. Finally I walked over to a CM that was standing in front of the bus and guiding the traffic flow. I explained to her that my grandpa was having trouble standing and she told me to go back to the bench with grandpa. At first I thought she was mad at me for crossing the yellow rope that you aren’t supposed to cross. Then a few minutes later a van pulled up and she motioned for us to come over and get in. We were all so happy and relieved that we could get my grandpa back to the hotel safely! This may fall under a medical emergency situation but seeing that van pull up for us…it was like we could breath again! I will never forget that CM for calling that van for us!!

On the way back to the resort the bus driver was so friendly, he kept asking us about our trip and where we were from, etc. We tried to tip him but he refused and told us to be safe for the rest of our stay. If I recall (this happened about 10 years ago) they called up to our room and asked us if everything was ok. The CM’s really made a scary situation much better for us that night!!!

This didn't happen to me, but it was pretty awesome. Last month my boss and his wife went to a conference in Orlando. They had one day to spend at the parks and the boss's wife wanted to see as much as she could. They bought a park hopper ticket for one day. When they told the CM at the ticket booth what was up, she gave them VIP passes. They spent 12 hours, hit three parks and saw a ton of stuff. (My boss was still sore three days later from all the walking, but they had fun.)

This one did happen to me. After three days of touring last fall, the muscles in my back started spasming. (I was in a car accident years ago.) We still had another day of vacation, though. I spent an afternoon and evening flat on my back. The resort hot tub was not fixing it. When my husband asked the front desk at AKL where the closest drug store was, the CM asked what we needed. The CM then reached behind the counter and gave my husband a bottle of ibuprofen and a heating pad. I spent some time on the heating pad, took some ibuprofen, and was a lot better the next day. That CM really salvaged the trip for me. The plane ride would have been miserable.
