What is your favorite mountain at WDW

hello i was just wondering which is your favorite mountain at WDW: Everest, Splash mtn., BTMRR, or Space mtn.

Everest is AWESOME, but I still had to go with Space Mt. :number1: It's been my favorite since I was old enough to ride it. BTMRR is a very, very close 2nd for the same reason. Both of my girls got to ride it this past Dec (in the rain too) and they say its their favorite (but they haven't rode the other 3 either).:mickey:

I did the exact reverse, Splash first with Everest second.Only because Splash has been a family favorite for many years.

I went with BTMR, DW and I love riding at night and catching glimpses of the parade or fireworks.:thumbsup:

I like it because of the Song of the South theme! I could go without the drop though.

how could you not like the drop, that is basically the big part of the ride, and without it you wouldn't be able to have the tar baby story line

I went with the classic: Space Mtn. I remember going on that ride the first year it was there. I didn't know what a roller coaster was and my sister stuck me on it. She laughed at me screaming bloody murder the whole way through. I was 5 or 6 at the time.

it may just be me, but i seriously think that BTMRR needs a big refurb before it beats any of the other rides there, P.S. GO EVEREST :number1: :thumbsup:

Had to go with Space Mountain. It was the first roller coaster I ever rode on.
EE is a close second... it's a beautiful coaster! and I like that it goes backwards.

Expedition: Everest got my vote, I love that ride. Splash Mountain was second place, followed by Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. For me, Space Mountain is last place ... that will probably change if and when it is refurbished. I love Space Mountain, but now I compare it to Disneyland's version, and it can't compete.

Its a no brainer for me Splash Mountain. Don't like roller coasters so that leaves out Space and Everest and can tolerate Thunder but only once due to back problem.

I voted Splash Mountain because I love the Brer Rabbit characters & story. Also, the ride is a long ride that is suitable for nearly everyone.

My second place vote would go to EE (great ride & great queue).

I had to go with Splash Mountain as well! The theming is just amazing and the ride is such a classic! I couldnt picture a disney trip without it! Everest came in as a close second. Again great theming even on the que. I like that both of these rides tell a story.

I voted for Splash Mountain. I like it because of the theming and music. Song of the South is a Disney classic and this is probably the only way my kids will ever see it. Expedition Everest is second becasue of going backwards and the speed. The Yeti is cool too!!!

This was a tough one. I enjoy all the Mts. offered at WDW..but since i had to choose one, I went with Splash. I like the fact that it is not all fast pace so you can enjoy some of the scenes you wander through. However, i haven't been able to ride E:E yet so my opinion my change :D

Ditto! I love all the mountains. Big Thunder Mountain was the first rollercoaster my son would ever go on, so it has a special place in my heart. (Plus it's a lot of fun!) Space Mountain is just cool, from the walk in to the walk out. It's just a bit jerky for my taste. We Love Splash Mountain, but I haven't enjoyed it as much since they fixed the water cannon last year. I hate getting soaked. But the rest of Splash is a complete delight. I had to go with Everest because going backwards in the dark is an incredible thrill! The theming is second to none.

One of my earliest recollections of Disney is watching a special on the Disney Channel about Disney World (not sure if anyone else remembers the show-- I remember it used Born to be Wild as one of the songs, showing what is now the Speedway and I think water mice as well...) and one of the coolest spots on that show was the Space Mountain spot. Every since, Space Mountain has represented classic Disney for me...just wouldn't be Disney without it.

I love all 4. Everest is my favorite ride! But if I had to vote for one it would be SPACE MOUNTAIN. I can remember my first ride. I also can remember when my oldest dd could ride it. She loved it. I also remember when my middle dd was 1/2 " short and cried. So we went back 6 months later. Now my youngest dd is gonna be close this fall.

Everst is great cause its new and full of technoligy. Splash had a wonderful story and is beautiful.Big thunder is fun. But Space Mountain is a classic and has been there waiting everytime I have walked down Main Street!

It's funny but our family of 4 each have a different 'fave' - my younger DS loves Big Thunder, the older is a brand new EE fan, my DW has a soft spot for Space, and I get a kick out of Splash. Go figure!! :mickey:

I’m a sucker for classic Disney, and even though Splash Mountain is relatively new, it is the perfect blend of classic Disney mixed with a bit of a thrill ride. The theming, the music, and the characters are all great.

I've got to vote for Expedition Everest. My son and I watched over several trips it being built. When my husband and I went last year it was a must do. It was well worth it. I can't wait to do it this year.
