Where is the Car Care Center? What are the hours. We are thinking of renting a car. Is it better to make reservations now or wait till we get there? We have always used Disney buses, but this time we are thinking of renting a car. Any other ideas would be helpful.

The Car Care Center is just before the toll plaza for the Magic Kingdom. The hours are something like 6AM to 6 or 7 PM. You absolutely should reserve before hand - the walk up prices are going to be extremely expensive. In addition, you need to call them 24 hours in advance to arrange a pickup from your resort to the CCC to pick up your car.

Alamo at the CCC is not your only option for renting a car. The other major companies have small offices on site in the hotels on Hotel Blvd near Downtown Disney, with the exception of Hertz, which is now at Shades of Green, and National, which is at the Dolphin. I believe they will also pick you up.

You certainly can wait until your arrival. However, it is likely that you can get a better rate if you have a reservation in advance of your arrival.
