We are both teachers and can only go the last two weeks of july or the week leading up to thanksgiving. I know what july is like but how does it compare to the early part of thanksgiving week, say saturday-tuesday? The heat of summer isn't much of an issue to us, we live in mississippi, I am just concerned about crowds at thanksgiving. Please help!

In the past, Thanksgiving week up until Wednesday wasn't too bad on crowds. Some reports from last year report the crowds have started to pick up even in those days.

I'm sure someone will be along soon with some firsthand information...

Here we go again...

We were there this past Thanksgiving and did not think the crowds were bad at all. The parks were not too crowded the days before Thanksgiving, lines were 15-30 minutes. The weekend after the lines were longer, 30 minutes to 1 hour. It was nice and cool, (down right cold one day) so the lines did not seem bad at all.
I will gladly go back at Thanksgiving anytime.
We are going back in July. I am sure the crowds and heat are going to be really bad. It is okay though, I will be in Dinsey World!!
