Apr. 12, 1925 – Roy Oliver Disney (Walt’s brother and business partner) married Edna Francis at Uncle Robert Disney’s house in Los Angeles, Ca. It is the same house where Walt lived and set up shop after first arriving in Hollywood. As Walt owns a motion picture camera, he shoots the days events. (In 1930 Roy and Edna would have a son named Roy Edward.
Apr. 12, 1945 – The Disney Training Film” Prevention and Control of Distortion in Arc Welding” was delivered to the Lincoln Electric Co.
Apr. 12, 1946 – Disney’s Pluto cartoon “Pluto’s Kid Brother” was released.
Apr. 12, 1987 – Disney’s 2-hour TV movie “Bride of Boogedy” aired.
Apr. 12, 1992 – The Euro Disney Resort, featuring Euro Disneyland Park opened in France. Euro Disney also premiered its 5 Hotels; Hotel Cheyenne, Santa Fe, Newport Bay Club, Hotel New York, and Disneyland Hotel, and the campground, Davy Crockett Ranch, located several miles away from the main resort.

Apr. 12, 1997 – Carl Barks, the creator of Scrooge McDuck, and who drew the Donald Duck comic book, celebrated his 96th birthday at a special weekend event at WDW.

Apr. 12, 2005 – Disney released 4 live-action features from the past to DVD. They included the 1966 “Lt. Robin Crusoe,” the 1967 “the Adventures of Bullwhip Griffin, and the 1971 films “The Barefoot Executive” and “Million Dollar Duck.”
