1) 9 Dragons or Teppanyaki?
My vote would be for 9 Dragons. I have eaten at both, but I have to admit I've had better Hibachi at a local restaurant.
2)Ohanas or Boma (never done Ohanas, twice at Boma where i first met the ex)
O'Hanas! I do love Boma, but if I had to chose one I would do O'Hanas. Its easy transportation to MK. Oh and the skewers..yum! :D
3)CA Grill or Jiko
I haven't been to either, but I would love to try CA grill out!
4)SciFi or Coral Reef
I have never eaten at Coral Reef, but after the posts I have been reading, I have no desire to. I would actually chose 50's PTC.

5)Concourse Steakhouse or Spoodles
I haven't done either, but if I had to chose Concourse Steakhouse :)
6)Rose & Crown or Marrakesh
For dining in Epcot, I would pick Le Cellier, I can't pass up that cheddar cheese soup!
7)Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Express for CS
I have done both, and I prefer Wolfgang Puck Express! Try the Rosisserie chicken and the garlic mashed potatoes...you won't regret it! :)
8)Flame Tree or Tusher House at AK
flame Tree BBQ, it's a great CS place! It's a great change from the regular burger chicken finger dining..the ribs are really yummy
Have a GREAT trip!!!

1. Nine Dragons...like the food and eating with people I know.
2. Never did OHanas, looks like fun, but i'm not a fan of not being able to choose the food, so I vote for Boma's...which was great and I'm a peanutbutter & jelly type person...
3. CA Grill or Jiko, I've eaten at both and love them...so...I'd wouldn't pick, I'd try to do them both.
4. Coral Reef hands down...
5. Steakhouse or Spoodles...done them both and like them both, it would depend on my schedule...you can get a reservation at Spoodles after Illuminations, or catch the Steakhouse before walking over the the MK...you can park at the Contemp since you have reservations...
6.Rose & Crown at an outside table for Illiminations...if inside, you can go out on their private patio to catch the fireworks...
7. Both are equally good...go with the quickest line at the time...
8. I want to try Flaming Tree...but our favorite is the Pizzafari...love to eat outside the side facing Camp Mickey...quiet, peaceful and relaxing...normally no people, and not a lot of background noise....hard to find at Disney.
9. Alfredo's is closing...perhaps you may want to try that or the French restaurant (bottom floor, can't remember the name) which pleasantly surprized us...

Wherever you eat, enjoy...it's on Disney....:cloud9:

For my consideration for free dining in Sept.
1) 9 Dragons or Teppanyaki? Nine Dragons will be closed for refurb. Teppanyaki.

2)Ohanas or Boma. Put the Boma behind you, man! 'Ohana!

3)CA Grill or Jiko CA Grill- see above.

4)SciFi or Coral Reef Coral Reef- try it again, you may be surprised.

5)Concourse Steakhouse or Spoodles. Will you be dining alone? My DH thought that Spoodles was an awful place to be alone. If so, try Concourse. If not, do Spoodles.

6)Rose & Crown or Marrakesh . Marrakesh! Get your belly dance on!

7)Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Express Earl, but I'm torn.

8)Flame Tree or Tusher House at AK. Flame Tree, but again, tough one.
thanks!

Isn't it nice how we "feel your pain"

Of course you COULD go to both haunting memory restaurants.. get sloppy drunk and for no reason announce at the top of your voice to the whole dining room ..

"I never liked her anyway"

And we can all read about here when some intercotee witnesses the whole thing..

Or mabye just go to ohana's ..lol'

See ya in May

12)Ohanas or Boma
Definately O'Hanas! I did not care for Boma, but I loved everything at O'Hanas.

4)SciFi or Coral Reef
I really enjoyed the Coral Reef. I didn't not find anything to back up any of the complaints found on the board. The chocolate wave is to die for.

8)Flame Tree or Tusher House at AK
I haven't tried Tusker House, but I thought Flame Tree was the CS of my last trip

ENJOY!!

Not trying to be TOO nosey.... but did DEX (boy, dear EX ain't THAT an oxymoron!!!)

Did DEX hook you up with the "family discount room rate" cm's often get?? If so, it's a good idea to stop in and say Hi'

If not .... Tell every disguntled person you see.. at the parks... restaurants... bathrooms etc to "call (insert her name Here) at the AKL and she'll help you with your problem."

I have a Dnephew who's working at the Yacht club (summer internship from U of F ...go gators) but he leaves the day before we arrive.

I told him I was gonna do the above to him if he got asked to stay longer.

:offtopic: some.
nope never got a discount. when i first met it it was the day before i left to come home.
she got another job down there last yr, and i visited once wo telling her ahead and i paid my own way.
did hear that she got others into the parks though.
too bad i couldnt get a discount. anyway back to the regularly scheduled eating topic...
still debating Boma & Jiko revisiting..

6)Rose & Crown or Marrakesh . Marrakesh! Get your belly dance on!

:exactly: just what i was thinking!

Unfortunately, almost every one of your choices contains one I have been to and one I haven't, so I guess I'm not a great judge. I can tell you what I liked. . . . .
1) teppanyaki
2)Boma
3) CA Grill
4) Coral Reef
5) ok, this one I haven't tried either
6) Marrakesh
7) Wolfgang (I actually have only been to the cafe)
8) I have tried both and like tusker house better. The salmon is delicious, if you like that sort of thing.

Make the ADRs as soon as possible, and I changed my mind given what you've said. Choose Jiko over CA Grill. This gives you the chance to pop in to the AKL and enjoy a really fantastic meal in the more upscale restaurant and put the ghosts away. It says that you have so moved on and you are doing just fine. But stick with 'Ohana over Boma. Or that's how I would play it, anyway.

7. Wolfgang Puck
8. Tusker house

Also, some boards are saying some of the table service places are booked solid for their stay. I would call ASAP.

1) Tepp, as Nine Dragons will be down.
2) 'Ohana, try something new.
3) Jiko, great filet.
4) Coral Reef, better use of 1 TS credit.
5) Concourse, steak.
6) R&C, for the beer.
7) Earl, good to pay out of picket, very good sandwiches at a great value.
8) Tusker House, slight edge over Flame Tree.
Both are excellent CS options.

1) 9 Dragons or Teppanyaki? - Teppanyaki for a nice change up.

2)Ohanas or Boma - Ohana is my all time favorite.

3)CA Grill or Jiko - CA Grill

4)SciFi or Coral Reef - I don't like either of these so I'll refrain.
5)Concourse Steakhouse or Spoodles Concorse has great steaks but never tried spoodles.

6)Rose & Crown or Marrakesh- Never tried either
7)Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Express - Only had Wolfgang and it''s so so

8)Flame Tree or Tusher House - Tusker House

Great mix of choices here:thumbsup: !!! I would love to mix it up as much as you do but with kids I'm limited.

1) 9 Dragons or Teppanyaki? Haven't tried either. Tough to choose.

2)Ohanas or Boma? Boma

3)CA Grill or Jiko? Jiko

4)SciFi or Coral Reef? Wasn't too impressed with Coral Reef but would choose it since it's way more expensive and a better deal on the DDP. I'd still do Sci Fi for lunch and pay OOP.

5)Concourse Steakhouse or Spoodles? Spoodles

6)Rose & Crown or Marrakesh? Rose & Crown

7)Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Express for CS? Wolfgang Puck but would still pay for EOS if you have the chance. Sandwiches are excellent and cheap.

8)Flame Tree or Tusher House? Tusker House.

1) 9 Dragons or Teppanyaki?
Teppanyaki do you really have a choice ;)
2)Ohanas or Boma Ohanas-- I agree look forward not back

3)CA Grill or Jiko CA Grill -- but haven't tried either.

4)SciFi or Coral Reef -- Coral Reef - no question.

5)Concourse Steakhouse or Spoodles -- We did both last Dec. and loved Spoodles and can't wait to go back, all I can say is we had a fantastic waiter @ CS but it was amazing that they could ruin prime rib:confused:

6)Rose & Crown or Marrakesh Sorry haven't done either of these either

7)Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Express for CS -- Really enjoyed Wolfgang PE last Dec.

8)Flame Tree or Tusher House at AK-- We pick Tusker b/c my girls hate bbq. My parents had Flame Tree and loved it. I would lean toward Tuskers.
Have a great time...

8) Wolfgang Puck Express or Earl of Sandwich (havent tried either)

1) Nine Dragons - I don't care for japanese so 9 gets it every time.

2)Marrakesh - Sounds like fun and different!!

3)O'Hana - everyone on here raves about it and you can take a ride on the monerail, watch fireworks, and the EWP.

4)CA Grill - From what I hear this one is also a not miss. We are trying it in Sept for the first time. If you don't care for it in May you can always change your ADR to Jiko.

5)Coral Reef - Even though I have yet to dine here (being from NE seafood in FL doesn't appeal to me we have the best here.) the huge aquarium sounds like it would be fun to watch while dining. Plus I don't care for Sci-fi at all.

6)Concourse - We LOVE it there. We had some of the best service ever there on our last trip. I wish I could remember the waiter's name I'd ask for him again on our visit in Sept.

7)Tusker- I LOVE the corn chowder and turkey wrap.

8)Earl of Sandwich - The sandwich combinations are wonderfully refreshing and exciting. The only problem I have there is what to order!!!

1) 9 Dragons or Teppanyaki? (ive eaten at both before few times at Nine Dragon and once Teppanyaki)

Teppanyaki is our absolute must do every trip. We are also trying Nine Dragons this year but we would never miss Teppanyaki!

2)Ohanas or Boma (never done Ohanas, twice at Boma where i first met the ex)

Ohana's all the way! Another one of our must dos!

3)CA Grill or Jiko (my first time at CA will b in May. ive eaten twice at Jiko on dates w the ex. i know they are 2 credits and i will b already doing Artist Pt)

California Grill is in my opinion the best resturant in all of WDW! We do this every trip!

4)SciFi or Coral Reef (1 lunch at SF, once at Coral in the 80s)

Tough one- I am going to go with Coral Reef- havent eaten there in years but we were at the Sci Fi two years ago and I was disappointed!
5)Concourse Steakhouse or Spoodles (have not done either)

Concourse Steakhouse is delicious. We enjoy this one!

6)Rose & Crown or Marrakesh (eaten at both,R&C more times)

Can't help you out on that one!

7)Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Express for CS (never did either)

I LOVE wolfgang puck express! Good food!

8)Flame Tree or Tusher House at AK (havent tried either)

Have only tried Flame Tree and it was pretty good BBQ food!
