What's the deal with this person selling Walt Disney's passport on Ebay? Anyone heard anything about this? I found the article on TMZ.

I have a hard time believing that this is legal, but I guess it is obviously expired by forty years or so. I didn't look at the page on eBay very closely, but it might be Disney who is selling it; they have done such things in the past (such as auctioning off the head cabin of a Mark IV monorail that was used at WDW) and usually donating the money to charity.
I don't understand your question. It's a collectables dealer selling his passport.
It's signed by Walt so it has tremendous value, as evidenced by the fact that the current bid is like $3,600.
I didn't look at the page on eBay very closely, but it might be Disney who is selling it ...It's not. It's a private collectables dealer.

If I had the money I would buy it. I wonder how they came across his passport anyway.

I would too. Sadly, my bank account does not allow for purchasing "Walt Disney's Passport." haha.
I actually have a lifelong ambition to some day own an autograph from Walt, Roy, and each of the Nine Old Men.
Thus far I have one. :(

I am a few steps closer than you right now but Roy is a tough autograph to come by. I do have Roy Jr ;) I got a few of the nine old men and the crown Jewel of my Collection is Walt
What's sad is that I used to have Ollie Johnston's and Frank Thomas on a book I bought on eBay.
I didn't realize what I had at the time and I sold it!!
ARGH!!

There maybe some legality involved with selling a passport.
The passport auction did go through it was through a private auction. It wa son Ebay to receive absentee bids. It sold for over $28,000
