We'll be there the first week in May.
Do they celebrate Cinco De Mayo like they whoop up other holidays?
I wondered especially in Epcot...

1) It is celebrated in Pleasure Island.
2) Usually from April-30 thru May-5.
3) Bands, music, piņatas, stilt walkers.
4) Not celebrated in the parks (eg. Epcot)

NOTE: Cinco de Mayo is celebrated more in the USA than in Mexico. In the US, it is a reason for a party. I worked in Puebla, Puebla, (home of the famous battle) and it is a holiday of pride in that state and city. It is not so celebrated throughout the rest of Mexico.

The Mexico Pavilion has had some small, low key celebrations in the past.

There's no real advance notice, but event details have been published in the Time & Events Guide the day of.

Last year, i dont know about this year, but they made Mickey Ears with little mexican hats on the top. and on the front they said Cinco De Mayo on them. Just kinda like they do with all the mickey hats for every holiday... But that is all i know of from last year druing that time. I'm sure PI does something to celebrate.
