Wondering if there is a bar area in Raglan Road that you can sit at and have drinks without having dinner?

Yes, a very large and nice bar area for those not dining. There are also bars that serve on the outside patio as well.

There are multiple bars and they are all very large. You can also eat at the bar if the wait for tables are too long.

Bars galore - you'll find an abundance of them; even some outdoor areas with bars...

Is this a place you can go with kids (6 & 9) and stop for a quick drink and a little something to nibble on? It would be nice to stop and grab a quick Guiness when we are over there shopping butu I am not sure with kids.

I think the outdoor patio is very nice and a great place to stop for an afternoon snack. Also, Cookes of Dublin is right next door, which is a CS equivalent to Raglan.
Everything is kid friendly at Disney, so even if you wanted to bring them into the actual restaurant, that would be fine.

Okay, Stupid Question of the Day.
Where is Raglan Road?

It's at Downtown Disney: in the Pleasure Island area.

When I went to Raglan Road there were plenty of kids in there and it seemed appropriate. Yes its a bar, but its still very family friendly. There were musicians and dancers too, the kids would probably like that.

I'd like those who have eaten at RR to talk about the food. We thought about going last Nov but looked at the menu on-line and we weren't too impressed.

How's the quality? Portion size? Value?

DH is Irish, but a bit of a fussy eater-especially when it comes to the value for what you get.
