And for those of us that live in Canada, the travel channel shows completely different programming...........no Disney today - 01 April 2007 for us. I was so excited when I saw the threads about DIsney on the travel channel. Why is the Canadian travel channel not carrying the same programming??/:confused:

The updated Disney Cruise Line show was so much better than the other one that they showed years ago. The one on now looks good too with nemo and everest in it as well.

HEY!

Some of today's shows are updated.

Behind the scenes features the suite inside the castle and also shows Expedition Everest, The Laugh Floor Comedy Club, Turtle Talk, Stitch and all the other recent additions to WDW.

Good thing I decided to record these today.

Do you think Disney Marketing will use the Travel Channel marathon to "launch" it's big summer discount annoucements?

What a way to pump people up and then start running the "free dining" and/or Dream commercials...

Smart move, if they do it.

"Animal Kingdom is the fourth and largest of the Florida parks, but certainly not the last.."
Hmm..5th park?!:mickey:

I love these new updated Travel Channel shows, even though they are kind of the same thing with updated commentary and segments..And for a minute there when they were talking about Disney and PIXAR, I thought they were going to officialy announce the Disney-PIXAR Studios name change and talk about Toy Story Mania..

So are they all updated? I would think the Great Hotels aren't, but are the theme park shows? Did the Animal Kingdom one feature Everest?

It sure did! It also featured the new Finding Nemo show. The show that has the four parks was also updated and featured the suite inside Cinderella's Castle and Monsters Inc. attraction in MK; MS, Soarin', and The Seas with Nemo at EPCOT and Lights, Motors, Action at MGM.

Been watching the Travel Channel all day...I love that they updated a few of them to include all the new stuff! They were also showing POTC tonight, not sure which channel. Anywho, I can't wait to go!!!!

Okay, so Animal Kingdom and WDW: Behind the Scenes were definitely updated. What was new with the Cruise Line show?

There was quite a bit everest footage. Some good shots of the yeti too.

I only caught the last few minutes of the cruise line show. When they mentioned the new ships that will be built I knew something it couldn't be the old show

I didn't plan on watching because I figured that it would be all the same shows that i've seen over & over. Once it occured to me that there was new stuff, I couldn't step away.

I'm gonna have to burn these to DVD asap.

I watched a few and DVRd all of them. It was nice to see some of the updates. Particularly the Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, which looks promising. Now, if I just had a DVD burner to get them all on DVD.

Let me just say that I was glued to the tv on Sunday!! My DH pointed out that they were on ALL day and that was all it took. Am I the only one who gets a tear in her eye when I am overcome with all that is DISNEY? My DH is rapidly becoming more and more a fan of the mouse. He is not rabid like I am though--YET! He even told me he wants to stay at AKL! Yippee!!:mickey: :cloud9: :cloud9:
