Alien Encounter closed its doors for good on October 11, 2003 to make way for Stitch's Great Escape! The new attraction debuted in the Fall of 2004.

A sinister experiment brings a horrifying creature within a claw's reach of you! One of the scarier attractions we've ever come across. The first time you do it, be prepared to have your heart race. Much of the Alien "encounter" takes place in the dark. The alien is mistakenly transported into the room with you and boy is he mad! You'll feel the aliens hot breath on your neck before it's all over. WOW! The attraction pre-show (shown in the RealVideo clip) from X-S Technologies is quite amusing.

Intercot Alert: Small Kids?  Forget it.  This ride is sure to cause nightmares in some adults.  Way too intense for small children.
