“Disney
Dreams Come True” Parade

The
Share a Dream Come True
parade was magical transformed into the Disney Dreams Come True parade on
August 10, 2006. The new incarnation of the parade contains revised floats,
a new soundtrack and expanded character line-up. The floats have been
revised replacing the snow globes with a themed structures and a new
“up-beat” soundtrack has been imported from Tokyo Disneyland.
Mickey Mouse and cavalcade of Disney characters star in the Magic Kingdom
parade, “Disney Dreams Come True,” highlighting favorite “dream come true”
moments from the early days of Mickey Mouse cartoons to the newest animated
Disney characters.
The spectacular opening float features Mickey Mouse waving from atop a
“Mouse-ument” of Mickey statuettes depicting Mickey through the years. Each
float is celebrates the wonder of dreaming, from the charming “Snow White
and the Seven Dwarfs” and “Pinocchio” to the adventure of flight in “Mary
Poppins,” “Dumbo” and “Aladdin.” An appearance by such dastardly Villains as
Jafar, Maleficent, Chernabog and Ursula remind us that making your dreams
come true isn’t easy and sometimes you must face your fears to do so. The
finale is a shimmering castle featuring classic Disney characters.
