Jock Lindsay's Hangar Bar

This 1940's airplane
hangar turned dive bar is named after Indiana Jones's pilot, Jock Lindsay.
As the legend goes, Jock and Indiana were on a mysterious expedition in
1938, which landed them at Disney Springs. Stumbling upon the town's natural
springs and lush terrain, Jock decided to settle down and buy some
waterfront property. He built an airplane hangar, water tower and runway and
began piloting tours across the Sunshine State. Eventually, he invited
members of The Society of Explorers and Adventurers to pay him a visit, and
his hangar soon became a favorite meeting spot and watering hole.
Stop in for a drink and
some exotic, adventurous eats, such as Rolling Boulder Sliders or Brody
Brats bratwurst, and then wash it down with a Cool-Headed Monkey or a
refreshing Reggie’s Revenge. The small plates are great for sharing, like
Dr. Elsa’s She-Deviled Eggs or the Tanis Tacos, Snack of Ra,—or “Good
Dates.”
Beer, wine and the “spirits” of adventure live on in tasty
cocktails like The Fountain of Youth, featuring Florida vodkas, The Bitter
Barkeep with Peruvian Pisco or The Scottish Professor. Watch the sun set
next to Jock’s old steamboat (in dry-dock by the pier) while you sip a tasty
Hovito Mojito—Barsol Quebranta Pisco with fresh lime juice and syrup.
