INTERCOT is joining all the Disney theme parks in celebrating Disneyland’s 50th anniversary; the park that Walt built with our own “Happiest Gathering on INTERCOT!

Join all your INTERCOT friends and family from October 7th thru the 9th as we descend upon Walt Disney World to check out all the new shows and attractions, for the Happiest Celebration on Earth (and celebrate the beginning of our 9th year online!). What could be more fun than spending time with all your online Disney friends in the place that brought us all together in the first place!

A tentative itinerary (subject to change) is already place and looks like this:

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

Details	Come join the rest of the crew as we check out the new and improved It’s a Small World attraction! Whether ya love ‘em or hate ‘em, the dolls are waiting for us!

Where	Rose Garden outside Cinderella’s Castle - Magic Kingdom
Details	Disney does a special Halloween fireworks display for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and what better way to view them than with some of your best INTERCOT buddies!

Where	Frontierland Shootin' Arcade - Magic Kingdom
Details	The fun doesn’t stop after the fireworks end. Not with this crew! We’ll move on to the Frontierland Shootin' Arcade for this special parade.

 

What	INTERCOT Birthday Party - Late Nite at Pleasure Island

When	12:30 AM - (yes that’s half past midnight!)
Where	In front of the Adventurer's Club - Pleasure Island
Details	For the truly adventurous in the bunch, we’ll be heading out from Magic Kingdom when the party ends and having a party of our own celebrating INTERCOT's 8th Birthday. Where? Where else?? The Adventurer’s Club! Don’t miss out on your chance to have a few adult beverages with your friends. If you’re very lucky you may even get to see JohnY do the Charlie Brown!

Details	Okay … who among us isn’t looking forward to giving this baby a whirl? So when you finally load up and get ready to take flight, wouldn’t it be best to have some fellow INTERCOTees along for the ride?   Meet outside of the Land Pavilion at park opening and soar with the rest of us!

 

What	Pin Trading & Meet The Author Luncheon

Where	Epcot - Italy Pavilion Plaza Entrance
Details	After a morning strolling around Epcot and seeing the sites the park has to offer, take a break, browse some pins, eat some grub and rub elbows with INTERCOT Cast Members and other notable web celebrities such as Cara Goldsbury from The Luxury Guide to Walt Disney World. Folks can dine at the various Food & Wine booths scattered about the World or select a counter-service location nearby and bring their bounty to the outdoor tables in Italy. Scheduled to appear at the meet is Cara Goldsbury, author of the The Luxury Guide to Walt Disney World.  Cara will be on hand answering questions and will be glad to autograph your copy of the book!

What	Private INTERCOT Illuminations Viewing Party
Who	Hosts: JohnY, WDWacky & SteelyGirl
When	8:15 PM - Admission Granted at 8:30 PM
Where	Lower Level Terrace Near France - Epcot This location is just over the bridge from England walking towards France on the left.
Details	Is there anything better than sitting in your own roped off area watching Reflections of Earth? Yes! Doing it with a cast of your favorite INTERCOTees! Meet at the designated area at 8:30 PM, and enjoy the best show Disney World has to offer!  Wrist bands will be handed out at that time by an INTERCOT Staffer who will check your name against our reservation list.  Please bring Photo ID. Tickets are $35 per person and include a selection of non-alcoholic beverages and desert. A cash bar will also be available. Tickets are NON REFUNDABLE. You may reserve your space through our online order form. Registration for this event will close at midnite, Friday September 30. Tickets are limited availability on a first come – first served basis.

Sunday, October 9, 2005 - MGM Studios

Where	Tower of Terror Fast Pass Booth - Disney MGM Studios
Details	Picture this … 40+ INTERCOTees, one elevator shaft, and a WHOLE LOTTA SCREAMS! And the best part is … it will all be captured on film for the entire INTERCOT audience to see! You absolutely MUST be a part of this one, and being in front of the Tower of Terror FastPass booth at 10:30AM will let you do just that!

Where	Stunt Show Entrance - Disney MGM Studios
Details	The “other” new attraction at Walt Disney World features chills, spills, and thrills. Join the INTERCOT gang at the main entrance for the first afternoon showing and be part of the excitement!

If you’ve never been a part of an event like this, now is the time to make plans and COME ON DOWN! You have no idea just how much fun Disney World can be until you’ve experienced it with 100 or more people who love it just as much as you do. So what are you waiting for?
