Walt Disney World Resort has released it's Extra
Magic Hours, Operating and Event schedules though December 2011. For
guests visiting during this time, you will want to visit the Park
Hours and Events pages
to aid in planning your trip. Remember, all times and schedules are subject
to change, so check back often.

American Idol Winner Visits Disney's Hollywood
Studios This Morning - INTERCOT Is There!
The 2011
“American Idol” winner, 17 year old Scotty McCreery will visit Disney's
Hollywood Studios on Monday, May 30, 2011. Scott will be the featured
attraction in a parade that begins at 10 a.m. and INTERCOT's own Melanie
Bounds is there covering the event live on our twitter feed. Check out all
the action as it happens from the park! McCreery will join Mickey Mouse in
a sports car near the park’s entrance and take a celebratory ride down
Hollywood Blvd. toward the Sorcerer Mickey Hat icon. The car will turn left
and head toward “The American Idol Experience” attraction, where Scotty and
Mickey will stop near a specially constructed stage.
Disney
has released late summer room discounts and are valid for the following
dates: August 14 - October 1, 2011. Discounts include $69 at Value Resorts,
$129 at Moderates, $189 at Deluxe and $209 at Deluxe Villas. Rooms are
limited and subject to availability.

later this morning - now in 3D - and with multiple versions so you don't

Dine-In Theatres Debut in Downtown Disney
AMC Theatres has put a new twist
on the date-night concept of “dinner and a movie” at AMC Downtown Disney 24:
“a movie with dinner.” Six auditoriums at the Downtown Disney West Side
location have been transformed into AMC Dine-In Theatres where guests can
watch the latest movies while dining on items from a menu including an
enticing selection of quesadillas, burgers, flatbread pizzas, grilled
sandwiches and house specialties as well as appetizers and desserts.
Reserved seating and table-top dining is offered.

Not So Scary Halloween Party" and "Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party"
dates have been released. These are hard ticket events. Guests must purchase
separate admission to attend. Walt Disney World limits the number of tickets
sold in order to keep the crowds down and many dates sell out in advance.
