Southwest Reaches Agreement To Buy AirTran
In a move that
will effect many Disney World travelers, Southwest Airlines said Monday it
will buy AirTran for about $1.42 billion. Southwest's acquisition of
AirTran is expected to close in the first half of next year. It requires
both regulatory and shareholder approval. The airlines expect to fully blend
their operations in 2012.

"Let the Memories Begin" Campaign
Disney guests will become
the stars of a nightly spectacular when photos taken in the park during the
day become projections on Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World Resort or “it’s
a small world” at Disneyland Resort. This new experience will celebrate
the family vacation memories created in Disney theme parks every day. Disney
guests will also begin starring on television this week as part of the new “Let
the Memories Begin” campaign. For the first time, Disney Parks is
featuring the home videos and pictures of guests in television ads and other
marketing that will allow an audience of millions to share moments.

Calendar Released for March 2011
Walt
Disney Imagineering has added a new composition that’s exclusive to the
attraction at Magic Kingdom Park that will play with varying sound effects
throughout all “flights” on 60 newly installed speakers. “Starry-O-Phonic
Sound” compliments a slew of enhancements that debuted on Space Mountain
last year, including new lighting, storyline elements and updated decor.

hand impressions on the INTERCOT Discussion Boards.
