Calendar Released for January 2011
 The
Walt Disney World Resort has released it's Extra
Magic Hours, Operating and Event schedules for January 2011. For guests
visiting during this time, you will want to visit the Park

Luxury
Pet Resort Now Accepting Reservations
 Pet
lovers visiting Walt Disney World Resort can now plan to board the family
pet in luxurious new accommodations. Reservations are being accepted for
pet boarding
stays beginning Aug. 27, 2010, at the new Best Friends Pet Care Resort. The
resort comprises more than 50,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space,
including 17,000 square feet of air-conditioned indoor space, 10,000 square
feet of covered outdoor runs and play areas, and an expansive private dog
park for the use of pet resort clients and their dogs. The facility will
accommodate up to 270 dogs and 30 cats for both daytime and overnight
boarding. Guests can book accommodations for their pets at 877-4-WDW-PETS.

"Taste of Africa Street Party" July Event
 Animal
Kingdom has announced “The Taste of Africa Street Party” event which will
run from July 9-24, 2010. The event will be held in the Africa section of
the park and will run daily from 3:45 p.m. until park closing. The "party"
will include kiosks selling African food and beverages, an African beer and
wine tasting in the Tamu Tamu courtyard, performances by Wasslou, live DJ, a
dance party, authentic African merchandise, and educational animal programs
with the Harambe Wildlife Team.

Twilight Zone Tower of Terror Summer Screams
 From
June 6 through August 14, 2010, the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at the
Disney's Hollywood Studios will bring more thrills to those who dare to
enter. A chilling new drop sequence was created especially for Summer
Nightastic!. For more details on the new drop click the link below. Summer
Nightastic! takes place throughout three parks and includes a megawatt
parade, a fireworks extravaganza, a rockin’ dance party, concerts and more.

New
2011 Marathon Race Enhancements
 In
addition to a tremendous sense of accomplishment, a magical reward will
await everyone who completes the Walt Disney World Marathon presented by
Cigna in 2011: a new Mickey Mouse race medal and a free day at Disney.
Finishers at the Disney Marathon on Sunday will receive complimentary
admission to a Walt Disney World theme park the Monday after the race. The
Marathon Weekend includes a variety of events for all ages and running
abilities – kids races, a Family Fun Run 5K, the Goofy Race & a Half
Challenge, the Disney Half Marathon and the Disney Marathon, plus the Health
& Fitness Expo. Registration remains open.
