Captain EO Returns to Epcot
The classic
musical spectacular, which thrilled Epcot guests from 1986–1994, is
scheduled to return to Epcot on July 2. The film’s return to the Imagination
pavilion will provide new audiences the opportunity to experience the
original 3D production for the very first time, as well as a nostalgic look
back for longtime fans wanting to see Jackson in a rare performance created
for the big-screen. Honey, I Shrunk The Audience will close temporarily for
a refurbishment sometime in the next few weeks to make way for the Captain's
return.

2010 Holiday Party Dates Announced
Mickey's
Not So Scary Halloween Party" and "Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party"
dates have been released. These are hard ticket events. Guests must purchase
separate admission to attend. Walt Disney World limits the number of tickets
sold in order to keep the crowds down and many dates sell out in advance.

"Eat
to the Beat" Concert Details Released
Disney has
announced the schedule for the “Eat to the Beat” Concert Series at the 2010
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. The lineup includes several
Grammy-winning artists including Sugar Ray, Rick Springfield, Air Supply and
Howard Jones. The concerts are included with Epcot admission, and are held
nightly at the America Gardens Theatre stage beginning October 1.
Performances at 5:15, 6:30 and 7:45 p.m.

2010 Disney's Night of Joy

Christian music “Artists of the Year” Third Day, mercyme and Chris Tomlin (pictured

2010 “Artist of the Year” nominees Casting Crowns and Francesca Battistelli
head a star-powered 15-act lineup set for Disney’s Night of Joy 2010
September 10-11 when the long-running Christian music event makes its return
to Magic Kingdom. From 7 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. each night – after regular
Magic Kingdom hours – the special-ticket event will feature live
performances on several stages throughout the park. In addition, guests can
experience some of the park’s most popular attractions during Night of Joy
hours. Night of Joy tickets go on sale May 1.
