“Party for the Senses” Add-On Plan Released

Party for the Senses is a dining experience that takes place each Saturday during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. Festivities showcase the talents of 20 chefs and over 50 wines and beers and include a imaginative décor, acts from Cirque du Soleil, La Nouba and VIP seating at the “Eat to the Beat” concert series. Between September 30 and November 13, 2005 vacationers can take their taste buds on a little trip around the world by adding the Party for the Senses Add-On Plan to their Magic Your Way vacation package. “Stay, Play & Dine” Package Returns

Disney has extended the Stay, Play & Dine Fall Package offer for guests vacationing from August 21 through October 4, 2005. New Disney Dining Reservation Policy

Walt Disney World Resort Guests can now call 90 days in advance of their check in date and book Dining Reservations for their entire trip (up to 10 days beyond their check in date). A valid resort confirmation number is needed in order to utilize this new policy. Off site guests, Swan, Dolphin and Shades of Green guests are not eligible. The new 90 + 10 day policy went into effect on July 18, 2005.

Epcot Food And Wine Festival Events Released

To mark the 10th anniversary of the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, Walt Disney World guests can sample new tastes with old-world flavors, cook with the experts and work up an appetite at Disney's 10K Race for the Taste. During the six-week-long festival September 30 through November 13, Future World and World Showcase will overflow with food, wine and beer experiences. Bookings begin at 7:00 a.m. ET July 25 for 2005 ticketed events. Events can be booked by calling (407) WDW-DINE. Park admission is required unless otherwise noted.

Girl Critical After Riding Tower of Terror

A 16-year-old girl is in critical condition after riding the "Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror" ride at Disney-MGM Studios at Walt Disney World, according to Local 6 News. Officials said a girl from Britain exited the ride Tuesday at about 9:50 a.m. and complained that she was not feeling well, according to Orlando's Local 6 News. She sat down with her mother in the theme park but her condition continued to worsen, park officials said. Disney medics came out and treated her and she was transported to Celebration Hospital where she was unresponsive.
