Island "Un-Gated"
From
May 23 - August 14, 2004, Pleasure Island will test operating as an
un-gated area, allowing Guests to free-flow through the island
during the evening operations. Guests wishing to enter the
clubs will still need to purchase an admission ticket prior to
entering the clubs. Admission tickets will still grant entry to all
Pleasure Island clubs. Guests with admission media that includes
Pleasure Island will be able to redeem their ticket at the entrance
of any nightclub.

Disney World Turns To High Tech Security
Walt
Disney World has installed high-security, anti-terrorist barricades
similar to those protecting the White House, U.S. embassies and
nuclear-waste depots. The hydraulically powered, steel barricades
block the service entrances of the giant resort's four theme parks
and were apparently designed to stop a 20,000-pound truck traveling
70 mph. Disney did not install the barricades in response to a
specific terrorist threat against the parks. Rather, they are part
of Disney's continually evolving "security plan," according to
Disney.

Nights Return!
E-Ride Nights are back! E-Ride Nights are an exclusive
"private party" in the Magic Kingdom for a limited number of Walt
Disney World Resort Guests with Multi-Day Passes. During an
E-Ride Night, some of the most popular attractions are open to ride
as often as you like. Dates announced are as
follows: May 31, June 2, 4, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25,
28, & 30, July 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21, 23, 26, 28, & 30,
August: 2, 4, 6, 9, 11 & 13

World Reveals Plans For Biggest Celebration Yet!
From Tokyo and Paris, from California and Hong Kong, Walt Disney
World Resort is importing a collection of incredible new attractions
and shows to commemorate 50 years of Disney theme parks. As
Disneyland prepares to mark its 50th anniversary, Walt Disney World
officials today announced plans to join in "The Happiest Celebration
on Earth" beginning in May 2005 and they showcased events and new
features in store for the current summer season in the Florida
Vacation Kingdom.
