New
Year's Eve Entertainment Announced
Join
the fun, December 31, 2002 from 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., as Pleasure
Island transforms into one big street party. All 8 nightclubs will be
open for the celebration. As well as having access to the Clubs, the
event includes party hats, horns, champagne toast, dessert buffet, and
a spectacular fireworks display at midnight. This year’s
entertainment lineup will be the B-52's, Joan Jett and the
Blackhearts, and Chris Botti. Tickets are limited. The cost is $79 per
person (up $14 from last year). Guests must be 21+ to attend this
special event. Valid ID’s must be presented at the Pleasure Island
gate to enter.
Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can purchase event tickets for
only $59 per person. However, Passholders are limited to one ticket
for themselves and one ticket for a Guest, at the special discounted
rate. Passholders are required to show their Annual Pass and valid ID
for entrance into the event.

Annual Epcot International Food and Wine Festival Opens
The 7th Annual Epcot International Food and Wine Festival toasts a new
lineup & features old favorites during it's run from Oct. 19-Nov. 17. A hip
new food-and-wine-tasting party, an outdoor concert series with name
entertainment, an elegant Signature Dinner series and the prestigious
Bordeaux Wine School program join the popular lineup of events.

Disney Vacation Specials Announced!
Disney has released discount specials for travelers vacationing at Walt
Disney World between 11/3/02 11-25/02 and 11/30/02 -12-25-02. Rates range
from $55+ per night for Value Resorts. $85+ per night for Moderate Resorts
and $119+ per night for Deluxe Resorts. The closer your desired dates are to
Peak Season, the fees increase. Rooms are subject to availability and must

Disney Club to Disappear
Disney
has announced that the Disney Club will cease to exist on December 31, 2003
and will stop accepting new members at the end of this year. A
point-earning Disney/Visa card will replace this popular discount club.
Many die-hard Disney fans are in a fervor over this announcement as they
feel this is the end of many of the great discount programs available for
repeat customers. Current members may want to reevaluate renewing their
membership with the discounts and benefits fading fast.
