Liberty Square Riverboat Rehab
Liberty Square Riverboat will be closed for refurbishment from Sunday,
February 24 through Saturday, March 2, 2002. It is scheduled to
reopen to
guests on Sunday, March 3, 2002.
2002 Holiday, Food & Wine Dates Announced
Epcot's Holiday Around the World is scheduled to take place November 28 -
December 30, 2002 & It's Food & Wine Festival will commence October 19 -
November 17, 2002. Only dates have been announced at this point. No other
details are available. Mark your calendars!

Test
Track Refurb
Test Track will be closed for refurbishment March 3-8, 2002. It is scheduled
to reopen to guests March 9, 2002. Test Track is a behind the scenes look
at the amazing world of proving and improving automobiles. This is the
longest and fastest ride in the "World" with speeds at or around 65 mph
while you cruise in your "test car".

Annual
Passholder Perks Announced
Walt Disney World is offering Annual passholders a few new perks this year.
A new AP lounge has opened in Epcot's The Land pavilion. Simply show your
Passholder ID at the Garden Grill for entrance. The Lounge includes
complimentary beverages, a kids corner with TV & VCR, local and credit card
phone services, newspapers, fax and Guest Relations Hosts to help with
priority seatings. The lounge is open from 11am-7pm daily. Also new is a
reserved Passholder Only viewing area for Illuminations. Just show your ID
to the cast member at Italy Isola (across from the Doge's Palace) for
entrance which is first come first served.

Magic
Kingdom Hours Extended!
Disney has extended the hours for the Magic Kingdom by one hour for February
24 & 25. One more hour a day to enjoy the magic!

Timekeeper & Carousel Open for President's Weekend
The MAGIC KINGDOM is pleased to announce that these attractions will operate
for Guests to enjoy during the Presidents' Day holiday weekend. Dates and
time of operation are as follows: Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress -
February 15-18, 2002 - 11:00am to 5:00pm; The Timekeeper February 15-18,
2002 - 10:00am to 6:00pm.
Space Mountain Renovation Feb 11-14
Space Mountain will be under renovation from Monday, February 11, 2002
through Thursday, February 14, 2002 and will re-open for Guests on
Friday, February 15, 2002.

April E-Ride
Nights Announced... Additional E-Ride Night Added in February
The Walt Disney World Resort is apparently back to advance planning mode as
E-Night information has been release for April. The dates are April 5 --
9pm - 12am, April 15 -- 8:30pm - 11:30pm & April 18 -- 7pm - 10pm.
Additionally,
Disney has also announced an additional E-Night on February 12th. This adds
to the already existing dates of February 19 & 22 from 8-11pm each night.
E-Ride Nights are an exclusive "private party" in the Magic Kingdom for a
limited number of Walt Disney World Resort Guests.
