internet!
<<INTERCOTee Hot
Trends>>
Here’s a look at the hot
trends among INTERCOTee's planning their trips:
--Eating off the Beaten Path--
INTERCOTee's looking for a
low-key meal in the Magic Kingdom, look no further than the Plaza
Restaurant:
"One of my all-time favorites. I
love sitting by the window and seeing the sights outside while
enjoying my meal. It's definitely time for me to back, and for my
nephew to add to his list of 'tried it once and want to go back'
Disney places to eat".--Sylvia
"I love the Chicken Strawberry Salad at the Plaza! And their burger
is definitely tasty. I had their Brownie Sundae for desert the last
time I was there...Yummy!"--snowflakegirl
"We were there last July Fourth, and were lucky enough to get a
table in front, next to the window. Talk about a magical experience!
We were able to enjoy the holiday fireworks without fighting the
crowds or sitting in the heat."--eandrsmom
--A Spot at the Springs--
Coronado Springs is a large
resort, but choosing a location to request is a small task with help
from other INTERCOTee's:
"The best area in my opinion for
convenience is Cabanas. It's right beside the The Dig Site pool and
a short, gorgeous walk over the bridge to El Centro."--Melanie
"I would say Cabanas. They are very quiet, and moderately close to
everything. The Casitas are too compact for my taste, and the
Rancho's are too far out there." --thads
"Ranchos is a far walk around the lake from the Pepper Market but it
is a beautiful walk. My 7 year old did it many times with no
problem. The ambience of this resort is fabulous, especially at
night. We stayed in Casitas and loved the short walk to Pepper
Market."--minnie-mouse
--Adult Tested, Teen Approved--
Finding a favorite grub spot with
teens can be tricky, but not at Disney's Hollywood Studios thanks
the to Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant:
"My 16 year-old daughter LOVES
Sci-Fi, and asks to go back on every trip. It is a fun atmosphere,
and the food has gotten better over the last few years, in fact, I
actually enjoyed my meal there last year."--ibelieveindisneymagic
"Sci-Fi has great burgers n fries"--#1donaldfan
"Sci-Fi is a must do for my teens. But I have two teens that LOVE
watching cheese Sci-Fi ... And we have a good time seeing which
clips are from movies we actually have watched or own." --MstngDrvnDsnyLvr
--Tinsel Trouble--
Many Guests love the Christmas
decorations at Walt Disney World, but no the Christmastime crowds.
INTERCOTee's weigh in on this decoration dichotomy:
"We try to end our trips by
December 19-20th or so. Crowds build very quickly and heavily from
that point on, especially if Christmas falls somewhere around
mid-week... a lot of people come the weekend before and stay the
whole week (which we learned the hard way one time). "--SurferStitch
"There is no time that is totally devoid of people. Relatively
speaking, early December is still a good time to go without the
heaviest of crowds."--faline
"The week following Thanksgiving used to be our go to week for our
winter trip (winter for us, anyway). The last couple of years, we
were hard pressed to find our preferences during that time and ended
up going the week or two before Thanksgiving. Christmas decorations
actually begin going up right after the last Halloween party, but
aren't complete until after Thanksgiving. "--magicofdisney
