Even though you can get a lot of help from the
Discussion Boards when you’re
planning for a trip to Walt Disney World, sometimes you need to see what you’re
in for before you get to Florida. Well, we have what you need right here at
INTERCOT. In our Theme Park
section we have short videos of many of the attractions at Walt Disney World.
From the Magic Kingdom, you can preview Spectromagic, Splash Mountain and Buzz
Lightyear-Space Ranger Spin among others. You can also view a clip from the
discontinued Diamond Horseshoe Review.
From Epcot, you can ride along on El Rio del Tiempo, Test Track and Spaceship
Earth. You can also see the original Journey into Imagination and see Horizons
being torn down.
From the Studios, you can survive Catastrophe Canyon, ride to an Aerosmith
concert on Rock ‘n Roller Coaster, and watch Fantasmic.
For Animal Kingdom you can ride the “Pothole Express” aka Kilamanjaro Safaris
and try to save “Little Red” or ride along on Dinosaur to help bring back an
Iguanadon.
All of the videos are from our webmaster, JohnY’s personal collection and are in
RealVideo format, so you’ll need to have Real
Player installed on your computer. Sometime in the future, we may be
switching all videos over to Windows Media Player, so you might want to have
that installed too.
But don’t sit still…INTERCOT is in the process of adding more videos in the near
future, so you’ll have even more ways to have a virtual WDW trip available to
you as you visit INTERCOT.

Well, Punxatawney
Phil saw his shadow on Groundhog Day, guaranteeing six more weeks of winter. Not
to worry though! Janet Megan told us that General Beau Lee in Atlanta did not
see his shadow; pjbs35a said that Ned the Nutria in Louisiana predicted an early
Spring; Flower reported that Wiarton Willy didn’t see his shadow in Ontario,
Canada, and TiggerRPh said the Jimmy the Groundhog in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin
also predicted that it will be an early Spring! Hopefully that means we’ll all
be done with the cold in a couple more weeks!
With Super Bowl Sunday on February 6th came lots of talk on who will win, what
foods do you serve etc. alphamommy polled our members on where they like to
watch the game. Results were that the majority of INTERCOTees preferred to watch
at home with a small group or just family. Congratulations to the New England
Patriots on winning Super Bowl 2005!
