Disney Shopping

Shopping at Walt Disney World is an attraction in itself! You have so many options available nearly everywhere you look. Here's a brief guide on what you can get and where.

Resorts:
Each resort has its own gift shop(s). They have resort specific souvenirs like clothing, mugs, pins, key chains, etc. They will also have some Walt Disney World merchandise and a small to medium sized selection of basic toiletries and snack foods. There is typically a cold food section with milk, juice, sodas, beer, etc. You'll pay a premium for these foods on Disney property, but they are available.

In The Parks:
Each park has MANY, MANY options for shopping. You will find park specific items, ride specific items and general Disney merchandise. Although not out on display, most shops also have rain ponchos and basic over-the-counter medicines like pain relievers, antacids, simple first aid items if you ask.

Downtown Disney:
Downtown Disney is a shoppers paradise! There are over 35 stores in the Marketplace, West Side and Pleasure Island areas. Some are Disney themed, some are not.

Free delivery is available to ALL Disney Resorts on purchases made in the parks or at Downtown Disney. You must be able to allow up to 2 days for delivery, so plan your purchases early.

Purchases at any of Disney's shops can be made with cash, Disney Dollars, traveler's checks, personal checks with proper ID and all major credit cards. You may also charge purchases to your room using your room key. Guest Relations will tell you on check in what your limit is. Also, ATM machines are available in each of the parks and at all of the resorts.

From Home:
If you return home and still want to do some Disney Shopping consider contacting Walt Disney World Merchandising directly. If an item is available within Walt Disney World the merchandising staff can usually track it down and ship it to you. There is a substantial shipping fee, so take that into consideration when placing the order.
