The Walt Disney World Speedway is home to the Richard Petty Driving Experience. The Experience provides racing fans and thrill seekers the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a 600 horsepower Winston Cup style stock car. Riding at speeds up to 145 mph. Open 7 days a week. Reservations are required for all driving programs.

Programs

Ride-Along Program
Experience a real life racing thrill while riding shotgun in a two seat stock car driven by a professional instructor for a Winston Cup style Qualifying Run. Ride-Along Program begins one hour after the start of each driving experience.
You must be at least 16 years old to ride.
No reservations needed.

Rookie Experience
Get your hands are on the wheel, your foot is on the gas, and be in the driver's seat for 8 laps around the track. The program lasts three hours.
You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license to drive.

King's Experience
Satisfy your need for speed while trying to tame the speedway in this high thrill, 18 lap program.
Total program lasts approximately five hours.
You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license to drive.

Experience of a Lifetime

Speedway Challenge
Complete your next Orlando vacation by driving or riding in a 600HP NASCAR race car. A racing experience with Richard Petty Driving Experience at Walt Disney World Speedway is where grown-up dreams come true. Driving Directions:
Follow the signs to the Magic Kingdom, keep left approaching the toll plaza. After passing through the toll plaza, turn left at the Walt Disney World Speedway sign.

Disney Transportation:
The track is located at the south end of the Magic Kingdom parking lot. The nearest transportation point is the Transportation and Ticket Center. Van transportation is available from the Transportation and Ticket Center to the Speedway.

NASCAR fans can purchase "spin-sational" souvenirs -- used, authentic Goodyear Racing Eagle tires -- for $5 each at the Walt Disney World Speedway.

Visitors are welcome and Pit Entry is free. The Experience may be closed due to inclement weather, testing or private events.
