Pal Mickey

Who is Pal Mickey?:

Pal Mickey is an interactive tour guide, which tells guests about theme park show times, shares character information, tells jokes and plays games. He costs $65 plus tax.

The toy is available for purchase at select sites in Disney's four Florida theme parks and at merchandise locations in each of the Walt Disney World resort hotels.

A Spanish-speaking version of Pal Mickey is available for purchase in the following locations:

"The fun takes part INSIDE of the parks. He will giggle and vibrate whenever he is triggered. In Epcot he won't stop talking especially in the World Showcase. He always tells about useful information, fun facts and things of the sort. He will even tell you when there is a parade and when the lines are short at popular attractions.
I liked my experience with Pal Mickey, even though it's my little brother who carried it."

"I would recommend Pal Mickey to everyone. As someone who goes to Disney every few years and knows my way around he gave a different dimension to this vacation and gave some really useful info. For someone who has never been to Disney he will be a lot of fun and very useful."

"He is great for queue times on the main attractions. Splash Mountain, Tower of Terror, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster the Tube ride in Animal Kingdom. The only problem is he tells you once you are in the area! (These are the only rides my wife can remember) but there were more.
Pal Mickey (PM) is terrified of water! When you pass any water rides he does ask for you not to allow him to get wet!

In Epcot he tells you about things in and about the Pavilions, the shows which are on and when they are going to start. I think in Epcot he must have gone off at least 30 times if not over 40! He also gives away my favorite place for watching Illuminations! PM tells you about the animals in Animal Kingdom and randomly tells jokes about the animals you may have seen. The random jokes are a little silly, but I liked them. He also gives you facts and where there are special paths and animals!

When in the park or anywhere else for that matter if you press PM tummy he will tell you a joke! Most of them are OK in a corny kind of way. The First night we had him in our hotel room he must have gone through 35+ jokes before my wife got tired of them!

The games for PM are:
1) That is not here! Game consist of Mickey naming a park and then saying rides or places, if is in the park he said you press his hand or tummy and he keeps a score.
2) Fast friends! This game consists of Mickey naming a friend and then listing characters. If he names the friend you press hand or tummy to score points
3) Mickey says! You press his tummy if PM says Mickey
Says but don’t if he did not say Mickey says!

Before you ask I’ve not played any of the games and have only read the instructions!

If you are a seasoned Walt Disney World traveler or going there for the first time I would highly recommend buying a Pal Mickey! If for no other reason than he is fun!"
