Bird and Robot Upon exiting the World of Motion ride, we proceed through a sloping, gray hallway. A neon sign on the left wall says "The Future of Transportation is Here." Beyond that is a large profile of a face with lighted, blue circle representing the brain. Restrooms are located to the right. Moving into the TransCenter, we can view the following exhibits:

Map of TransCenter

A: Wind Tunnel Turbine: Marking the entrance to the TransCenter is a replica of the GM wind tunnel turbine.
B: Aerotest: The basics of aerodynamic design through wind tunnel testing.
C: "Bird and the Robot:" Vaudeville-style show in which a toucan shows the tricks his robotic friend, Tiger, can perform. When Tiger doesn't cooperate, Bird (pronounced "Boid") shows Tiger the horrible things he'll have to do if he returns to the GM assembly line from painting to welding.
D: "Water Engine" Theatre: From coal to electricity, nine characters debate fuels and power plants of the future.

E: Concept 2000: Step-by-step development of the Aero 2000 concept car, from initial design to finished prototype. This experimental four-seat subcompact was designed specifically for EPCOT.
F: Dreamer's Workshop: Display showing highly advanced transportation concepts for the next century from high-speed trains to one person cars to intelligent test dummies.
G: Lean Machine: A 21st century urban commuter car.
H: Concept to Reality: Cars, trucks, and minivans currently on the market are available for guests to see, touch, and sit behind the wheel.
I: Information Center: GM Representatives are available to answer questions about the exhibits or the cars and trucks on display.
J: Special Showcase: Exhibit space frequently changed to showcase a new GM innovation or celebrate a season.
